    Hey, here to ask a question to people. I want to try showing the Vintage project to more people, so I want to try to make posts on X/Twitter. I don't know about the idea of doing that because all the toxic stuff I heard happens on there. (especially with art) But hey, maybe it's actually not that bad, and I'm just worrying too much.

    Do you think it's a good idea?

    Hello! I'm back to say that I'm again motivated to continue Vintage. The next update is close to completion! Just a few more polishes and new Spawn Egg designs.

    Note: I will not release the pack on Modrinth after this update. I plan to polish all the Mob/Entity textures. After that, I'll work on getting it onto Modrinth.

    But when that one day happens, I have a list of themed updates that I'll make after the release!

    Spring drop stuff for Vintage!

    Bushes now look like the classic Dead Bush, but alive.
    Removed the 3d Cow snouts
    Changed falling leaves. and more subtle leaf litter. (also changed the color to be the same colors as leaves blocks)

    Shown the unused flowers before. but just in case you haven't seen it, they take the place of Wildflowers.

    so adding one wildflower changes the kind of flower? that makes no sense, maybe you could do a different kind of flower (maybe a beta one like paeonia) that stays the same and acts similarly to vanilla wildflowers and pink petals. Also what will you do with dry grass and cactus flowers? (even with the pack enabled minecraft will still be ruined)

    creeper next? also just a suggestion, if you want, you could add stuff from newer updates too! like Alex, mace, allay, and pillagers. and NOT leaf litter! why would mojang ever add a feature like that! speaking of, what will you do to the spring drop features for Vintage?

    Hello! it's been a while. Today is currently my birthday, and the development of Vintage is going smoothly.

    But I restarted the thumbnail again. This time a recreation of the Xbox 1 Legacy Console art, but with the pack's textures. I think THIS portrays Vintage the best!
    It's like a kind of call-back to the original Vanilla Mix thumbnail in a way.

    I'll be making the art in GIMP, so it'll be way faster than using a vector program!

    Making a resource pack that creates new blocks when stacking slabs.
    I'm calling it Chisel 'n Bricks!

    Also, the new Floral Creeper update is done. I just gotta make a render for it.

    Looks like people really really like the Paper Creepers I made.
    So much that multiple people suggested the idea to make ALL of the mobs in the style.
    But the issue is that there's some mobs like the Piglins (mainly just the Piglins.) Are gonna be way harder to make cause of the item holding.
    I'll try to find a way to figure it out. If I do, I'll get to work on it.

    Hey, I've made the decision to only include Floral Creepers and Gunpowder flowers.
    I like making smaller packs, because it feels nicer to do. It also gives players more options.

    All of the stuff I've shown like Pebbles, Branches, small Item Frames, etc, will be separate packs! The good thing is that most of those stuff are finished, so I just need to make screenshots.

    SUPER EARLY DEVELOPMENT IMAGE.

    Making it so you can make spore blossoms face, and placeable anywhere with item frames!

    There's even log branches too. Also placeable with item frames.

    Speaking of item frames... I made them a little smaller and flatter so they wont pop-out when you use them.

    One last thing is pebbles! you can place them only by placing a stone button on the ground. Any other direction will make it a normal button. (mossy variant planned)



    I'm starting to think about calling the pack something else now. Something like
    "Flora 'n Greeneries" or whatever like that.

    Hello! I'm currently working on an update to the Floral Creepers pack!

    The Blossoming update!

    This update completely remakes the Floral Creepers with a new model, revamped animation, and new variants.

    Another big part of this update is new flowers! these flowers replace Glow lichen,
    Resin Clumps, Pink petals (4th stage), and Gunpowder.



    Note: I recently made a forum post about adding flowers that replace candles based on real-life flowers. I've scrapped the idea because I feel like it would overshadow the Creepers and I also feel like it's too ambitious. Sorry if you're a little disappointed. :(

    Made this Husk art to practice the Mojang style in a different program! Way easier to make than using vector and I'm definitely gonna make more of these in the future.
