Hey, if you need a guy handling any and all redstone you could possibly think of, i'm probably your guy. I've worked on a couple of adventure maps in the past, and i definitely know a bunch of different contraptions that come in handy for maps like these, or that would be suitable.
I'm also crazy about fiddlin' with new contraptions, to make something never-seen-before, that would make your map stand out from the crowd.

As i'm incredibly tired at writing moment, i don't feel like linking to the things i've built, but if you're somewhat interested, however, i encourage you to go to my profile and just take a look at some of the things i've built before, as i have posted just a fraction of my work here, on pmc.

Hey! this sounds like a great deal of fun! i'd love to be a part of a team like this, and help out any way i can.
My force however relies solely and simply with redstone. since i'm way too tired right now to write a super long application, i bid you to check out my profile, as i have uploaded a fragment of some of my builds. i don't have any preferred area when it comes to redstone, only that i don't do computers and calculators and stuff like that, ain't nobody got time fo' that!

I recommend you release some more info, what are you looking for builders for?
How big is the project?
How many builders do you need?
Any specific building style?
Different kinds of builders? house designers? redstone peeps? interior designers?
In order to get others to make an effort with this, you got to show that you do put just a tiny bit of effort into it as well. the post just seems half-hearted and worthless

i would definitely play it, but as jman mentioned, a lot of factors count towards servers like these shutting down just after launch.

2. Skype name or other way to contact you besides the forums: I would rather post this in a private message instead of posting it here.

3. Role you want to apply for: I'd like to apply for a redstoner. sole-simply, i don't want to do anything else but spend my time on fiddling (new word) with red dust and timing and shit like that...

4. Pictures of previous builds: you can check out my pmc profile for a fragment of what i've done, though most of my builds and expiriments happen in a private world save where i'm the only one allowed. if my profile pictures & vids doesn't do it, feel free to ask me for more at any time though.

5. Do you have a microphone: i do indeed.

6. What makes you better than other people at this job: i have spent a huge amount of time learning techniques, shortcuts, special ways to do things, and so on, about redstone, i actually dedicated a certain part of my life to making what i can, of course there are some people who are better, but those people don't choose to apply for a job like this. i put a bunch of effort into every contraption or fiddlyhut (new word once again) that i make, and i love working in groups. i love getting the feedback from other people before actually releasing the project, it's like an exam, witha teacher to check your answers before you deliver the thing.

7. What times are you available to build and for how long: uuh, well i live at Paris/Rome time (+1) i have studies first to mid part of all days, (sometimes weekends as well) but rest of the day i should be able to play, to prioritize schoolwork before or after what i'm supposed to play or work with.

8. Age: I'm currently 17 years old, 17 years on earth that is... no mars or Jupiter stuff, that's cheating..

How long have you been playing minecraft?:
Uuh, 3 just about 3 years, last half of that time has been on and off a bit though.

What would you like to do in this project?:
I specialize in redstone, that's pretty much the only thing i do, if you do need a redstone dude for this project at all? i'm also doing some casual survival once in a while but not much else, apart from trying out modern builds and stuff like that, it's nothing i've taken to the public yet though.

Why should I pick you?:
These posts tend to get so long, so i'll try to make this a bit shorter;
I always put in an effort to do my best, on a build or a project, irl in general, just as well as in minecraft. I take responsibility for my builds and actions, good or bad! (Nobody be stealing my treats aye!?), it has turned out to some pretty neat builds as time has passed, some of them are even on my profile, it's just a fragment of what i've done though.
The usual "Pick me!" reasons; i <3 workng as grupz it's my all ! ;I;I i'm so guud at it cuz ive made many hauss in treez and much so im sooo guud!

What's your favorite meme?

My area: i specialize in redstone and all that it stands for, you can check out my profile for some of the things i've made, i made all kinds of things like a simple door, and a huge real-time clock showing seconds, minutes, hours, and weekdays aswell.

Why should you let me on the team?:
As mentioned before i'm crazy good with redstone, and i love spending time making new contraptions and ways of doing a certain operation redstone-wise making it better, faster, simpler etc etc, then i'm great at working in teams, it's what i prefer because you can have a lot of different opinions on a work and get to a conclusion together. alone i tend to stray towards comprimise-conclusions which might make the work worse than it's supposed to be, so in general i like working in teams and i'm pretty good at it.

Why do you want to participate?: i like being a part of a team and making a project with other people, making it work while doing our best so that hopefully other people will like it once it gets uploaded.
Other relevant info?: Aye i focus on redstone, in my opinion every great map/server need a redstone technician who has the ability to sit down and figure out a smart simple way of handling a trap, a door, a system anything, instead of the typical half-concealed manual reset things.

Do you have original Ideas?
Right this moment i only have a fem short-thought
thoughts, since i've just seen this post but ideas spin round and round in
my head and tend to get well and original, i like making new things and making
them work, creating a concept that's rarely been seen before - never, Then it's a
great idea. The trick is as mentioned before to make it work properly.

Specialty Area?
I specialise in redstone, i've been making all sorts of different small contraptions like a lever trap-door to huge real-time pistonsclocks, i love making large scale things, like even bigger doors than the usual, even bigger clocks than the one on your wrist and an even bigger hole in the ground than the usual creeper crater.

Mic?
Yea sure i got that

How long have you played minecraft?
Just about 3 years

How well do you know redstone?
I know it pretty well, computers is yet a thing i have to try out, as far as i know it takes up a lot of time and concentration which i haven't always got enough of to understand such huge a thingthing.

Are you willing to get better at any area you might be lacking in?
Of course, that's one of the main reasons people are here right?

How often do you play?
Thatvaries i periods, sometimes i play every day, other times hardly once a month depends what's happening at the time.

What is the best thing you have made in your specialty area?
According to redstone that's hard to say, huge things tend to be easy not challenging because they're made of a system which is just repeatedly slavery-work while smaller things take exact delay, exact setups etc etc, but i guess a 9-pin piston door is one of the greatest things i've made.

•Need to be good at building: yea, i'm pretty average at building, my main focus is redstone though i'll also help out at building as Much as possible.
I've also been on a building team for a map named "the forgotten chambers" as redstone engineer and main builder. Though the server got shutdown and never Aired the finished map. We did make a trailer containing some of the Stuff made at the time.

Apart from that, i've made a huge load of different redstone contraptions, all from a simple levertrap to huge Real-time clocks, you Can check out my profile for a few things i made, inclusive Said clock. Last but not least i find the modern buildingstyle Extremely interesting so i've also made quite a Lot of modern buildings, nothing that i've felt like uploading though. Hey! your idea seems interesting, i've been looking for work like this for a while, so finally seeing something is great.
I'm a redstoner, i love playing/fooling around with redstone, making all sorts of contraptions and machines typical or different from other peoples innovations, i typically try to come up with new ideas and new ways of taking care of a redstone job, (setup-wise), i've made tons of different things, right from a small lever/door trap to a huge real-time clock, you can check my account, i've uploaded a few things, including said real-time clock.

Building skills (1/10): probably 6 or 7, building isn't my greatest skill, but i'm definitely not bad at it.

Redstone Skills (1/10): this is definitely what i prefer, and spend my time on, i make a bunch of redstone contraptions all the time, you can check out my profile for just a tiny taste of stuff i made, i'd place myself on a 8 or 9/10.

Skype (If you want to talk about the Concept or somethin): will pm if needed later.

Anything I should Know: i'm studying, so i have to prefer that above anything else, it takes a lot of my time every day, i might get home late some days, and some days i might get home early, so i'll have a hard time placing any specific periods at which i can play.

Maturity: about 7/10, maybe 8/10, 10 isn't any kind of fun at any time, i'll be fun and casual most of the time, but i'm capable of recognizing a situation and define whether i'm supposed to be serious or not.

building skills 1/10: 6-7/10 i'm not that great a builder, but i'm mainly here for the redstone-role, since that is what i spend my time on. you can check out my channel for some of the stuff i made, including a real-time clock, invisible bud-switches, elevators, stuff like that.

redstone skills 1/10: definitely 9/10. i didn't go all the way and start making CPU's yet, but that's because i chose not to, it's way too time consuming for me. i like making all sorts of redstonecontraptions, fiddling with the finesses making it as small, fast, and stable as possible

Why do you want to help?: I want to help on an adventure map, because i like being a part of a bigger project, making it work, pick up tips and tricks, throw a few tips out to a few others, feel the social environment around the other people, and then i also helped on another adventure map called "The Forgotten Chambers" but we never finished, though, the owner chose to shut down the server without noticing any of us, and nobody heard from him since, why or if it'd ever be up again.. we did make a trailer, though for some reason the video has been changed to private and can no longer be viewed by most... the site for the project is still made though:
