If I work on my resource-pack and release it, I can start publishing the smaller projects like vehicles and stuff I've been working on that are just sitting in my saves and schematics folder.

Thing is, there are still a lot of things that I haven't decided yet when it comes to the resource-pack such as what blocks to edit and to what I should make them, but if I publish the resource-pack I'll make sure to publish updates for it.

I was kind of against the use of resource/texture-packs before, but as minecraft started adding more and more useless blocks that I'll never use in my modern builds, I decided to start working on a resource-pack. Most of the textures are vanilla, adding things like concrete half-slabs and stairs, some are new such as a garbage can, and some are more advanced like animating lights for crosswalks. As it progressed, using my resource-pack became more and more obligatory for my builds.

The minecraft launcher has become an unusable mess. Instead of just giving a simple prompt to change profiles, it spends minutes just loading, displaying nothing but a grey screen just to load up a launcher that tries to get me to play other games that i don't have nor have i expressed any interest in owning.

The old launcher was by far superior to this garbage and I'm sick and tired of pretending that I don't just hate the way this game has been progressing. Repport-features banning you from your privately owned servers, a childish button-prompt tutorial instead of offering the old-style tutorial-world, boring featureless mobs, watering down of features such as crafting into a brainless clicking-menu instead of actually figuring out crafting recopies. If it wasn't for the new height-limits, i would have suck to the old versions. I'm sorry but it's true.

what's wrong with me idk if i have adhd or something, impossible to focus on my project

Making my own texture-pack has been a great investment. It allows for so many more builds and really makes the stile fit together 100 times better.

I haven't been posting a lot recently. Still working on the major project, even if it may seem a bit slow.

I need help with a texture-pack thing. Specifically changing 2 leave-colors and some textures. Anyone willing to help?

To explain:
I want to change the acacia leaves texture so that no matter the biome, the texture will be the same. I also want to change the jungle leaves in the same manner. I have found a few resource packs that are edited to completely ignore the foliage-map and instead override the leaves with a specific color in the .json files, the issue is that all those texture packs change leaves that I want to keep as they are, and I'm not really knowlageable enough to edit the .json file and searching doesn't give any specific resource-pack where i can copy over the details to mine in order to specifically change those two textures.

If someone made a texture pack where the only change is those two leaves i could just insert my own texture-pngs into the "blocks" folder in the texture-folder, but i can't find any texturepacks that only change those two leaves with the .json files edited. Can anyone help me with this?

I also made a new profile picture, which I'm very happy about. It looks modern, sleek, corporate, it really fits the style of builds that I'm making.

One aircraft I really wish someone more competent than me made in minecraft is the KR-860. Honestly I would probably pay someone to make it

I keep my posting on the wall-posts here to a minimum. I have a discord chat with 2 friends where I bounce ideas back and forth and I come up with 14 ideas per week and I'd just end up spamming peoples feeds.

I was however thinking of making a weekly-ish update where I list my ideas and keep you guys updated on how the work is going once my new city actually gets going. I want to do this here on the wall-post tab so that people have a reason to subscribe and to keep the "updates" tab for my main city build for the actual updates where I show of something new.



One peace of news that I can say now is:

I may be releasing something for everyone to download relatively soon, so stay tuned for that. I've been working on something for a few months, and I realised that instead of cramming all of my "these are my city-and-worldbuilding things" into a single save, I'll split them up, so you'll get one massive city world, and a few smaller ones that, had it been an infinitely large world save, would be located around the city. However, to save time, allow for a more realistically spaced out city, and actually allow you to explore, I'll separate them into their own smaller world saves and upload them as I go along.


I am also thinking of how to best make the city terrain. I don't want to go into details, but I am actively having discussions with my friends on how to go about making a terrain that fits what I'll be working on.
