About me

I've been a full-time software developer for 20+ years, am married and have 2 kids. One of whom also plays Minecraft.

Minecraft is one of my most favourite games. It proves that good graphics don't automatically mean that games are good. In games like the latest Tomb Raider, the graphics are very good, but the story is short and though it is fun for a while. Once you've finished it, you might never come back. Minecraft has the freedom of building, exploring, monster fighting and many more things.
Once playing the game becomes boring or I start missing things, I can just decide to develop add-ons for the game, just by actually programming, which I could with the mod I created 10 years ago. Back then I did more with JAVA than nowadays.

One of these days I might turn my mod into a datapack, but first I will play some more.
