How to place ANY minecraft item on the ground

I found an AMAZING way to put any item on the ground. With the new 1.13 snapshot we have new pressure plates, and we are able to put item frames on the ground. So, let's cut to the chase. Place a block matching your pressure plate, ex. stone. Place an item frame on top of the stone, then put an item in the frame ex. diamond. There is a gap between the item frame and the edge of the block. Holding the pressure plate, right click in the gap. There! That's it! I'd like to see what you do!
