Current status of FNaW: TB + 2.0:

Five Nights at William's: The Beginning 2.0 has been about 94% completed!
All that has to be done now is playtesting and a few polishing on some points.

Now you might be asking what will happen to the old versions of the map, they are going to be archived and you will be able to still download the older versions on the PMC page of FNaW:TB +, just look in the description once the 2.0 update has been released.
That means you will be able to always enjoy the old versions whenever you want, or even burn the old versions onto your CD!

Here is the new cover art for the map (currently).

Current status of FNaW: TB + 2.0:

It has been a very long time since my last post about FNaW: TB + 2.0.
The map is reaching its final stages of development and polishing with additional features currently being implemented.

I have added new options on the main menu, so you can now customize your experience a lot more!
Some of the settings are: Camera Static, Extra Particles, Skip Cutscenes, Subtitles for Phone Calls, ect.

As you can see on the gameplay screenshot below, Im implementing a "Plus Mode", in this mode you will only get 1 life, basically its a perma-death mode. However, every run is going to be randomized, the AI values of the animatronics will randomly increase during the nights and stack up to night 5.
Exclusive to the mode will also be random "events" these can randomly occur at 3AM per night and these events also stack up to night 5, these events can be for example: window lights not working suddenly, camera taking longer to change, ect.
Im also thinking that you would start with like 400% power in night 1 and that is the amount you have to rely on the whole 5 nights, but Im not sure yet if I want to implement that.

Progression is going slow since Im also having hard times with school stuff, this entire project is completely done by myself, so expect progression on the map moving slowly forward. I would say roughly about 70% is done so far, I wanted to release this update last month or this month, but it seems that it will take alot longer unfortunately.

Anyways, thats all for this post. See yall next time!

Current status of FNaW: TB + 2.0:

While it has been a long time since my last post, not much on the map itself has changed.
However the new phone call scripts have been completed. And you can be the phone guy if you wanted.

Yes you read that right. YOU! can be a part of the map if you wanted.

If you do want to be the phone guy here is some important things to know:

-This is done as a volunteer
-Be atleast 18+ (For obvious reasons)
-Have a adult sounding voice when possible, and can speak decent english.
-Your name will be put on the credits, and can be linked to your Youtube Channel, PMC Page or whatever you request. You can also
deny if you don't want your name on the credits if you want to stay anonymous.
-It is preferred that you only send the voice itself, so no ring tone at the beginning and no phone pickup/hangup sounds.
-Phone filter will be applied to the voice, but you can do it yourself too if you know how to do it well.

If you want to apply to be the role as the Phone Guy, then you can just comment or message me on PMC, and on DMs I will give the instructions and scripts.

Now it's very important to understand only one person can have the role as the Phone Guy.

I don't want to disappoint people who make mistakes during the voice acting, but rather be open on honest and respectful opinions.
We all are humans, and everyone can make mistakes including me.

If no one applies to be the role as the Phone Guy, then I will do the voice acting as usual.

Anyways, here is a little debug preview of the office:

Colton and Lucy model preview and current map progress of FNaW TB+ 2.0

    Hello guys!
Today I wanted to post some of the progress of the 2.0 update of FNaW TB+.

-Main menu is completed despite still having some placeholder background images.

-Extra menu is about 40% complete with the only option currently working being the animatronic previews and few missing UIs.

-Main night gameplay mechanics are about 99% complete, meaning that almost everything has been completed and is fully playable despite still having some placeholders.

-Phonecall scripts still have to be remade and rerecorded.

    -Some sounds still need adjusting.

-Cameras images are about 70% complete, progress going slower on this one since im struggeling with bloom effect on shaders that cannot be turned off normaly. (Camera images are done more sparingly meaning that for example 1 image is combined with 2 or more images, but because of the shader im using it causes the animatronics to have a glow effect around them that messes during the image-model making process).

-Post night minigames still need introductions for players.

    -Cutscenes are about 70% complete.

-The new 4/20 mode has been tested and it is beatable but alot more harder and requires a new strategy in order to beat.

If everything goes well, the update might release in may or june, but not guaranteed!

Anyways... here is the next teaser showing Colton and Lucys new models:

A gameplay sneek peak of FNaW TB+ 2.0 and some infomation on how the new version plays out.

When I look back at FNaW TB+ 1.0, I noticed just how "cheap" it really is, it's really just a FNaF 1 demake, you can even use the same strategy like FNaF 1 to beat the all max mode. Sure it had a different map, different door mechanics,1 new camera mechanic and post-night minigames. But other than that it played exactly like FNaF 1 1to1 and that wasn't the goal, rather to make it like FNaF Plus which at the time didn't have many information about the gameplay yet.

FNaW TB+ 2.0 mainly focuses on camera gameplay, with the zoom you can stun Colton and Lucy, this must be used on some scenarios because of the door overheating mechanic, sometimes Colton and Lucy camp out the door until the door is about to overheat and the only way to survive is to stun them once they went away.

The camera also now has the "scrubber" on the top, this can be used to "scroll" the camera manually with Space + A or D.
Also the camera no longer drains extra power usage, but the 1 extra usage is tied to the electrical room with a special mechanic with Lucy.

As for Leopold he no longer gets stunned when just looking at the cameras, he has to be stunned with the new zoom mechanic, however he will be alot more aggressive, and can now attack from both sides unlike 1.0 where he was just a cheap foxy copy.

Williams Night 5 event has also just been completed programming, it focusses on keeping track on William alot, I don't want to spoil much on his night event, but Im gonna say one part about his mechanic: The longer he is watched, the more reaction time you will get, if you don't watch him, he will insta-attack.

But I think the real question is: Does the 2.0 update play similar to 1.0? The answer is: Not even close.

Anyways thats all for this post, stay tuned for more!

Second teaser and the current state of FNaW: The Beginning + 2.0 Update

The map is currently in a playable state however with alot of placeholders in use, meaning that there isn't a public playable build yet, however I will list some stuff I am currently working on, and what is playable or not:

-Currently im working on adding a penalty mechanic for using the camera zoom on an animatronic too much, the camera zoom will be used for certain mechanics stopping animatronics from doing certain things, and freezing them in place.
-Most camera renders are complete, with some still work in progress.
-Every animatronic now has their regular AI updated, meaning that they will work very differently in 2.0.
-For the night events every event exept for night 5 has been made functional, but still far from being finished.
-All of the post night sections have been remade and are playable, but still have some placeholders in place and no hints/guides for the player.
-The regular night gameplay is playable, but still has some placeholder images for the cameras and other stuff.
-Main menu is about 50% functional, no custom night or options menu yet and background uses old placeholder images from 1.0.

I also want to thank everyone for the support, who has downloaded and played any of my maps!
I have to mention that map making is just a hobby for me, I made FNaW to encourage people to make "functional" custom fnaf games inside Minecraft, while I have achieved this goal since there are some functional maps out there, but not too many. (I am talking about CUSTOM fnaf games, so i don't mean like remakes/demakes of the original games)

Anyways, here is the next teaser showing Leopold's new model and his new Stage (currently).

Announcing a 2.0 Update for FNaW: The Beginning Plus and FNaW: The End of Minecraft Plus

    Hello players!

Five Nights at William's: The Beginning Plus and Five Nights at William's: The End of Minecraft Plus will be getting a 2.0 update in the next few months, the main focus of the update is to improve the animatronic models, improving and adding new mechanics to the games, and improving the location of the location the map takes place at.

FNaW: The Beginning Plus will most likely be the first map receiving the 2.0 update, I can't say when it will release exactly but definitely sometime in 2026. The reason for this update is that the old maps don't look as good as the newer ones, I am also not very happy about the animatronic models, therefore they will be completely remade.

Here are some improvements that FNaW: The Beginning Plus will get:

    -Better animatronic models
    -Rerecorded phone calls
    -Manual camera scrolling
    -Camera zooming mechanic
    -Different mechanics for every animatronic
-Night events for Nights 2-5 (Every animatronic will have a special mechanic on specific Nights)
    -Slightly updated post-night minigames

And here is the list for *planned* improvements for FNaW: The End of Minecraft Plus:

    -Better animatronic models
-Rerecorded phone calls (Maybe with an additional 2nd phone guy?)
-Warehouse from FNaW 2: BtbS Remake used for location
-Return of Nights 6-7 and a additional Night 8 being the Custom Night
    -Mechanic changes

I may post some teasers on my youtube channel, stay tuned!
