    How to force opacity on all blocks

    As many who've tinkered with a resource pack may know, most blocks in Minecraft don't want to render with opacity. Well we can change this behavior super easily!



    1. Go to your jar file and go to "assets\minecraft\shaders\core" and copy the "rendertype_cutout.fsh" file.

    2. Paste it in to the same directory in your resource pack, and rename it to "rendertype_solid.fsh".

    Simple as that! Disclaimer that this can probably cause some lag on low end devices, and it only works for 1.17 and beyond.

    Just know that there's currently no way to change how each block triggers cullface for its neighbors. This means that you couldn't, for example, make wood planks look like glass without them also functioning as an xray block.

    I'd like to apologize to all my subs, I haven't been able to release the half stack pack, or anything I've been promising. I'll tell you why that is right after I declare hiatus. I'm on hiatus. "But Share, why are you on hiatus?" Funny how that works out, I can answer your hiatus question, and make an excuse for my inactivity! ;)

    Anyway, I didn't want to declare hiatus since there was just one more week of school for me, and I thought I could get back to work afterwards. Well, now due to circumstances out of anyone's control I have to move, and will have even less time to try and make packs since I have to help my family pack.

    It made me happy to see an additional four subs join us in that time, yay! That also means I've also missed the mark on the half stack sub pack by a lot. Oh well.

    Before I go, I'd like to thank Bermsy for bringing a duplicate pack to my attention, and allowing my to destroy that false creator with LoGiC. If you'd like to help keep my account from becoming a json file buffet while I'm gone, feel free to link dupe packs to my guest book for people to report. I'm moving the guest book up near to top now for a while. Take a look at it if you guys'd like to help me out by mass reporting that scrub.

    Thank you everyone for supporting me! I've reached half a stack of subs, but uhhhh, my half stack special isn't quite ready yet. Don't worry, I can work way more on it now that school's out, hopefully I'll have it done before I hit 35 lol.

    Apparently xray packs are legal in bedwars?!? screw it I'm gonna make the best dang xray pack there ever was JUST to prove it SHOULD be illegal lol. Use responsibly ;)

    Another peek at project: Voodoo. It's all ready to go just need to make sure the instructions are clear because it's a pretty technical pack. Hopefully I can have it up by this weekend.

    if you have survival map or something you’re proud of aside from texture packs, you can put it behind a patreon pay-wall for security like fWhip recently did with his survival world. You can offer pack combinations by request for patreons (like if they want a few packs in one file but dont know how/want to copy paste). Its hard to come up with patreon benefits when you’re main content is something usually, bu in no way strictly, free. You’re packs are great though and I’d be interested in them whether they are free or paid
