Thank you! If America is supposed to be free, why can't we all have equal rights? Being gay has nothing to do with being messed up, it wasent their choice! Someone PM'd me and said if they could be straight, they'd do it in a heartbeat. There is nothing wrong with being gay, in some opinions. But in my opinion, being religious shouldn't have anything to do with being gay.

This is scientifically inaccurate. Just admit it, if you are against gay marriage it is because you don't like gays. Personally, I think that anyone who is against gay marriage is a hateful bigot.

They don't have to stare at them, it only bugs them because they let it get to them, they find it revolting and unnatural.

SkyrimGalHello users of PMC! In my honest mind, I would like to know others views on Gay Marriage. I know many people think its wrong and many people think it should be legal, whilst some don't care. I would like to know why you think it should be legal, or why its wrong. Please do not just say "Gay marriage is a sin!. I understand many Christians think that it should not be legal because its a sin, in the bible. But I would like to read an actual reason why.

Now, remember, I wish to not offend anyone, just simply post your opinions on gay marriage then that's the end. I'm intrigued by others opinions and this is one of my favorite topics because of all the different reasons.

I think gay marriage should be legal, for the reason everyone has love. Maybe ours is a different gender, but does it really matter? Love is love, in any shape size or form. There are couples who have been dating for years waiting for gay marriage to be legal in their state but it never usually happens. Straight couples have been married for days, hours, months, then get divorced and its legal. But two people dying to be married who have been together for years can't.

That's my opinion, what's yours?


Being gay is not a choice. I don't 'choose' to be into girls and guys romantically and sexually. It's just how I feel. Of course 'gay marriage' should be legal. It's just like any other marriage, just with both members of the marriage being the same sex. They're still in love, nothing bad is going to happen if they get married - world war will not break out - people who love each other will get married and be happy. That's it. If you love someone, don't you want to be with them forever and marry? I would. The homophobes in this thread make me so angry.

Thank you, I know you did not choose, but many people choose to believe so. I appreciate you posting your opinion, its very moving and truthful.
