Hiya. I build maps sometimes, usually video game recreations because I have no originality.

Some random info about my building process I guess:

• I don't update my maps frequently (lack of time and motivation, other creative projects to pursue)...
  
• ...But you'll struggle to find someone more committed to finishing a project than me. (I started the Spyro build in 2014-2015 and you better believe I'm finishing it even if it's by 2050.)
  
• I use Spyro World Viewer for the Spyro map. If I don't have access to tools like that, I open the game at the same time and do my best.
  
• I build by hand. Or with /fill for the annoying bits. I find it somewhat more fulfilling.
  
• I don't use mods or map editors (for the reason above, but also because I don't know how and am too lazy to find out). I'd like to be able to change biome to get varied grass, but that's probably all I'd use a map editor for. And for mountains. I hate mountains.
  
• I build in vanilla and without texture packs because it's more challenging to recreate games with a limited amount of blocks.
  
• I don't know if I'm good at redstone or not, but I try to do interesting things with it. I use it to include interactive elements and such.
  

Oh and here's a list of games I hope to recreate someday, if I'm still playing Minecraft by the time I'm 30. I have no intention of starting these anytime soon so don't hold your breath.

• Firstly, just finishing the first game in the Spyro build would be an accomplishment, much less all three, so that's my main focus...
  
• The Legend of Spyro... someday.
  
• Fable: The Lost Chapters
  
• The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (probably gonna have to break out a world sculptor for that one) and Skyrim while I'm at it.
  
• Various Zelda games (Ocarina, Majora, and Spirit Tracks, namely...)
  
• Dungeon Defenders
  
• Left 4 Dead ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  
• Kingdom Rush... maybe?!
  
• Undertale
  
• Overwatch and Heroes of the Storm, maybe...
  
• Also once I started building gigantic Hearthstone boards, maybe I'll continue that.
  

And probably a billion other random and nonsensical games that have no business being Minecraft recreations.
