So... this is a little bit of late news, but Modrinth just got bought by the Spark Universe. Now, I have mixed feelings about this. Personally, I love Modrinth. Very few ads, Minecraft exclusive, etc. Now, I have no problem with Modrinth switching ownership; it means faster approval response times, better moderation, and so on. And also, the owner of Modrinth was a teen going into college, so I 100% see his POV. But the instant I see things that cost real money, that crosses the line. I don't want to see ads, coins, ranks, etc. I think this might be 2014 all over again. The big corporation buys something that is perfect and RUINS IT! Yeah, I will be interested to see what happens to Modrinth in the upcoming months, and thanks for taking the time to listen to my rant lol.
Moved the ask me anything post to the forums. Since they function better for that. Sometimes wallposts can act a bit goofy when there gets to be a lot of comments to display.
OMG I BEAT Zomphey! But i used one of the weakest items to beat him, can you guess which one? (drumroll) Snowballs! We were in skywars and i killed him while he was bridging and knocked him into the void
Why is it that every new project, whether it’s a build or an addon, instantly gets credited to Create Aero? Like, I’m not sure, but it feels like almost all the work (if not all of it) is actually done by the libraries/mods that Aero requires to run, like Create Simulated or the one that adds wheels
