you make a post under the artist forum topic
    select the little picture button,
and insert the image address of the picture you want to post!

either that or you can just copy and paste images directly into the text box :]

i dont have many followers on here because ive only been here for about a week but!!

    be active!
i think the best way is through art (read: skinning), but making blog posts is good too

making yourself known through comments on any forum website is amazing for exposure
people like to know a user is personable and friendly!

secondly, dont do anything JUST for the followers.
never start something with the goal of popularity,
thats just a perk of making things u know!

create things you enjoy, and just hope other people will like them as well :-)

    be unique too!

creating original and interesting content is amazing for growing your page
this goes along with creating what you want to see since
you know what would be fun to see best!

if you do want subs super bad
i recommend learning to make different forms of skins
art is amazing because most people dont like reading
they like looking at pretty images lol

elvenjedi makes amazing tips on youtube that can turn anyones skins from 0 to hero imo!

good luck with your journey here!!

heres a really simple way to find them inside your computer's files! this short tutorial is for windows only as thats all i know how to use. for this tutorial you will need 7-zip since that's what i use as well :-)

1.) search %appdata% in your desktops task bar
    2.) open the .minecraft folder
    3.) open the versions folder
4.) select the version folder you will be making a texture pack for (ex. 1.16.2) and open it
5.) inside that folder will be a .jar file, copy it
6.) return to the original .minecraft folder
7.) right click in any open space and create a new folder for your texture pack, i recommend naming it "MyTexturePack" so you can find it easily
8.) paste the .jar file inside your new folder

9.) extract the .jar file into that folder by right clicking the file, using the 7-zip dropdown, and selecting extract to [.jar name]\ (do NOT click extract here!!!)

viola! now you have a folder containing all of the assets for your selected version :-)
(to find the textures themselves go through the folder with the version number on it > assets > textures)

i dont know anything about paint.net so i cant exaclty compare the two but it seems like both do the same things? overall though i wouldnt recommend either simply because there are better (read: more advanced) free programs like firealpaca and medibang :-) best of all, with medibang you can create textures on the go because it has a mobile version!
