    It's cool to see your work here and that you can make money off of it...

    I'm not a fan of adfocus, lol. They hide the skip button on the top right, and the ad I usually get is ridiculous, except that it doesn't appear that the report button actually works to let me report it for being misleading in a few aspects.

    I was surprised when vanilla tweaks started using that too since it said they'd be unobtrusive with no popups and that they wouldn't be misleading, but that one ad I get has definitely nearly misled me before and gave a popup on the adfocus page.


    Sorry, this is a very complain-y memo. There's definitely worse. Maybe I'm sick of that ad. =]


    I'm glad I found this here, keep it up, etcetera, sorry, forgot what I was going to say since I got carried away with the complaining. I finally found green jungle wood again, so that's fantastic! Now that I know what I'm doing, the packs are worth the ads.

    Hey Stridey, do you have ideas what happened with adfocus?

    That one ad I complained about presented itself in a way that makes me think malware. I have downloaded it once (you learn after that), while not installing it and immediately deleting once I noticed it wasn't optifine, but my computer is (probably? hehe) fine... Once I spoke to you about it I never saw it again, but others could probably have gotten it still. I am pretty sure I still see its other forms of ads.

    I'm not sure but if you're not sure and haven't ruled the actual ads out then this could interest you, I suppose. The ad was for a chrome extention that told you that your browser may be out of date and it has a long paragraph (it may have been a ToS, I don't remember) and when the skip button appears a popup appears that says "Your download is ready" and there's a download button on the popup as well as the original ad, but that button actually just downloads the thingy they want you to download and not what you wanted to download.

    I've also seen that ad in the forms of the ones on websites that just say "download now" or something to look like the official download button or something. I think it took you to the site/ToS thing first? I'm afraid to check.

    *By hide I meant it's tucked away at the corner, while the ad I would get has a bigger button in the middle. Wrong word used, sorry.

    I'm more than happy to support you all when I download though, since it's only a few seconds, and I've figured out *not* to press the big button that tells me that my download is ready XD. It's great to be able to do that and get what we get in return.

    AdFocus don't hide the skip button, and I picked them specifically due to them being safe (unlike AdFly). You just need to wait 5 seconds before the skip button becomes visible.

    That being said, there are ad free alternate ways to download both mine and Vanilla Tweaks' packs!
    For my PMC packs, there's always an ad free download link at the bottom of the latest changelog.
    For Vanilla Tweaks, there's a drop-down arrow next to the download button for a direct (ad free) download. :)

    Since there already is a connected textures section on vanilla tweaks, what about a connected class pack? since some people might not be able to get optifine (macbooks can't verify that optifine hasn't got malware) that a connected glass pack might be in order.

    Vanilla Tweaks' connected textures method uses cullfacing techniques to hide the border when its adjacent to another block. This method isn't possible for glass though, since its hardcoded as a non-solid block.

    For DefaultEx, maybe change either exposed copper or weathered copper's color palette to better transition into one another? Currently the jump from exposed to weathered is easily noticeable.

    Hey man! Thank you for all the work you have done with Vtweaks!
    I do have 1 question about adding other tweeks INTO the mod pack on my side. SO I have found a resourcepack that has the shulker box preview mod and I was wondering what I would do to integrate that into a resourcepack that I would download from Vtweeks? (note it is not as easy as copying and pasting its asset folder into the resource folder) If you have time Id appreciate if you got back!

    Hey, back at it again with another suggestion.
    Have you considered fixing the crimson, warped, and dark oak signs to make the letter colors more visible in Vanillatweaks? This has been a problem for a long time now, and I think it'd be neat, even if it just fixes the letter colors for just the dark oak signs.

    Have you considered making an OptiFine download for connected textures on Vanillatweaks? Every time I turn on connected textures with the Variated Connected Bookshelves pack on, it doesn't apply and I have to turn it off.

    You need to turn Connected Textures off in OptiFine settings currently. This is a temporary issue and I'm working on a fix that will allow you to use OptiFine's connected textures and Connected Variated Bookshelves at the same time.

    Yeah, you do it the same way as you'd make any customised panorama- just with shaders on.

    i have questions:How you make the Pack Icon look like 1.14 default texture and what FOV you use for taking pack picture ?

    For the old Default+ icon I opened the emerald block model in Blockbench and then zoomed into it in the GUI display, then took a screenshot and cropped it to fit :)



    I usually use 30 FOV for promotional pictures

    v1 we created for 1.8, and be can be found under the 'Older versions' section of the description. Its a far cry from the current versions of Default+ though, as it was of of the first ever versions of Default+
