halloween/birthday skin brewing...

I've been searching on Fiverr for some dancing africans holding signs, but then i stumbled upon this skinner, not that i'm gonna dismiss the skill, like, the skins are fantastic, but ive been wondering if 20$ justifies it. i mean, maybe the user is from the US or Europe, and like, labor costs there are high, but like, for a 16x16 skin. Maybe it's just my asian brain, cuz here, a skin's like 5$ or less.

maybe i should start charging more than 5$ if my skinning account SkinwalkerMCNuggets becomes more established, but for now, i think i'll be doing free skin requests for portfolio building next year after my finances are fixed. I mean, i could start taking 5$ comissions right now, but i havent even created and polish my portfolio yet despite making skins, and i dont engage with communities more often because i've been busy fighting demons.

Without revealing what they are. After I finish my next build. I intend to redo a small series of builds from scratch that I had uploaded on PMC here 10 years ago, As I have recently regained interest in them =o

I can't wait to see what 10 years of building experience, and every new MC update since then can do for the new look

I feel like ive always had art identity crisis for a long while now, I dont stick on one type of thing, like, there's alot of cool ideas and scenarios to draw, like, i could draw a plane, an art trend, an anime gacha girl, concept art, worldbuilding, but something's limiting me.

maybe i need to pick up my big black notebook and just draw there for now, and i'll share it here and on the socials, since vectoring on my phone is usually a headache admittedly

Been staring at my pack's thumbnail for a while.

At the moment, i'm locked in on something else, I'm currently helping out a friend's bbq stand (pay is small, but gotta make do), but i think i wanna change the thumbnail from just a usual 3d showcase to something similar to Mojang's concept art, i loved the birch mushroom concept art, like, it's lively, and yet so simple, i think the landscape background would be for the showcase on Curseforge, Modrinth, and PMC, like, villagers and soldiers on some field or a village, and illagers doing whatever they do.

For the thumbnail, i think the background would remain black, but i'm thinking of painting just 2 villagers, and then like some 2 iron golems on the background, idk, something that's like a poster.

no need to question how, i'm aware i cant paint like that, the bigger question is if and when, i dont care about my skills anymore. cuz like, as an artist, i wanna, like, show what i can do without losing direction, maybe promote that ArtStation after i finish painting. It will also involve using blockbench to make the landscape and characters, and then trace it on my phone.

Anyways, shoutout to ArtStation - Mariana Salimena, she is one of my many favorite artists, next to some of furry and asian artists, and whoever drew those minimalist landscape wallpapers.

Now that there is a light gray colored signs. I decided to try bringing back a very old design of mine. Long before I ever joined PMC. I had tried using yellow carpet over signs inside of the roadway. To make it look more like a double yellow line.

I feel like its almost too subtle of a change to be worth it?
