I'm a 28 year old professional graphic designer living in Los Angeles and I've been playing Minecraft since 2010.
I'm in a very happy relationship with a wonderful guy who I love with all of my heart. We actually met on Minecraft several years ago, and I don't think either of us could have predicted how this game would change our lives forever.

A friend of mine once told me they were using a particular Minecraft skin because they couldn't find any that looked anything like them. The next time I was changing my own skin, I realized they were right. There were very few quality non-white skins available on Planet Minecraft or elsewhere that I looked. And that upset me a bit.
The next time I made a skin, I tried to make one for a range of skin and hair colors to see how hard it would be to expand one idea to a variety of people.
It took me less than 2 hours to alter my design so that everyone could find something that looked close to themselves.
So everyone could feel included and present within the game.

I decided that was worth the extra time.

And ever since, I've made a point to offer multicultural design collections for all of the skins I create.
I hope I can get better at representing people as time goes on, and that I can create a good range of skins to fit a variety of interests and personalities.
