    Hi guys,

    Echoing Silabear's post, please do not hesitate to message a staff member if you have any concerns whatsoever about anything. It could be an uncomfortable feeling you get from another member, worries that someone you know is being mistreated, or the belief that prior communications with the staff were ineffective or unfair. We listen to each and every message we receive, and if possible, we try to help. If we can't, we can direct you to someone who can.

    To that end, every single member of our team is an individual with a different background and their own strengths and weaknesses. Some of us are super good at finding the proverbial needle in a haystack when it comes to tracing stolen content, other members of our team are really, really good at listening and offering guidance if you're feeling crappy that day. If you message one of us and don't receive satisfactory help, consider messaging a different, potentially higher-ranked staff member.

    We want to help you. It's our responsibility to do that. This is our community to be proud of. I don't want anyone to feel as if they can't trust the people on our team.

    But please -- help us help you. We can't act on things we don't know about. We need your reports and for you to voice your concerns to us if something feels off. We do not -- and cannot -- have the ability to have eyes on everything all at once. If you have evidence of someone trying to hurt you or other members of the community, please bring it to us.

    Lastly, understand that there are ways to protect yourself. Like Silabear pointed out -- the block function is a powerful tool that can and should be used to undermine other users' attempts to hurt you. You are encouraged to use the block function in conjunction with the report function. If you feel that the problem extends beyond PMC or is of a particularly serious nature, be aware of your right to contact relevant law enforcement.

    My sympathies go out to anyone who has been negatively affected by recent events. It's a bad situation for everyone involved and should not have happened in the first place.

    To everyone who voted for Scrapyard Creations: you are all my pride and joy and the reason this community is a flourishing light in the darkness that is this world of mining and crafting. Tears have been streaming down my face. Our voice has not been and will not ever be silenced. What once was a minority has grown into a full-blown revolution; one I am profoundly proud of.

    For it's not about the merits of an individual man's choice. No it is not! One man alone cannot do great things, this I am sure of. But us? We as the collective unit? We were born; we were built; we were DESIGNED to do these great things with one another. Created to be banded together as one. We stood up in the faces of power, tyranny, and oppression and we were all the better for it. We've demonstrated that no matter who you are, no matter where you came from, no matter where you are now, your voice is heard. Unless you voted for a different theme, then your voice is definitely not heard; this message is not directed at you.

    Life is not about dancing off, or disguises, or villagers, or fashion, or the Aztecs. Life is about various heaps of contained scrap metal you may happen to find at a scrapyard. Life is about junk. Let us toast to this momentous victory. Thank you for coming, thank you for voting, and most importantly thank you trash; for without it, we would be nothing.
