I've got some big news.

I've recently started streaming, and i feel like it's given me a bit of a resurgence in my main project.

I've decided i'm going back to work on project 10:1. I can't guarantee I'll be finishing it but I'll certainly be streaming my progress.

sad news...

I'm gonna be honest guys. I don't really want to work on the 10:1 titanic anymore. I know it's what I built this small community on but it's wearing me out, both mentally and physically. I want to move on and work on something different but all I can think about is "what will they think." I feel like spending a lot of time on one project is good, but when you're spending it all on something you don't even want to build, it becomes less and less of a hobby.

I understand if you start to feel like I'll never publish a map, because I really don't have that faith in myself either. It's come down to a point where I'm not even sure if I should continue trying to make Minecraft maps, because every time I do, I always end up falling short. I'm probably still going to keep doing this, even after all of that, but I need some time away from PMC for a while.. a long while.. I'll still be here online and everything, but I won't be doing anything on the site at all.

The project I'm working on now means the world to me, and I plan on releasing it someday. Just know that it will be a long while before I come back and show off anything of what I'm building. Thank you for taking the time to read this, I hope you have a blessed day. Take care.

I get the pressure of starting a massive project and not being motivated to complete it. I've been there and it's crushing in a lot of ways. You feel obligated to finish it because you said you would, but whenever you think about it, you feel terrible and don't want to even touch it anymore.

That's how I felt at least, and if you feel the same way then my advice is to just walk away for now. There's no shame in moving on from something that you don't enjoy anymore. If you explain your situation like you have, then I'm sure people will understand. You can always come back later if you really want to do it, but sometimes some fresh air is nice. 💙

Your projects are rather your projects. You can cancel them or push them away if something happens. You can move to other stuff if you want a break from your main stuff. How about trying skins or drawing/sculpting(showing photos of the works in blogs)
