For the sake of PMC's skin contests - vote SCRAPYARD
(and not just because it's been too long!)

Now I hate to say it, but I don't think another historical theme will do PMC much good. Look at the Historical Splendour and the currently judging Norse Mythology contests -

We're seeing a palpable downturn in the quality of the final leaderboard, and I suspect that historical themes simply do not foster the same creativity afforded by other, more open or versatile themes. These themes just aren't holding the attention of great skinners, who have decided to invest their time elsewhere, leaving the contests uncompetitive.

PMC absolutely deserves a skin contest like Scrapyard, which I believe to be as strong a theme as the October's Lab Experiments or December's Robots.

I recognise the merits of the villager theme, which I wouldn't mind being voted in either. But strategically, I think it best to concentrate all our votes into the one viable theme.

Tell everyone you know, share the word around:
For the sake of PMC skinning, make this June a SCRAPYARD June.
