On the topic of "fighting back and getting Spritecraft removed completely", this is the internet. Once something is out there, it doesn't go away regardless of how hard anyone fights. Spritecraft will always be around, which is why we decided that pixel art should be shared in the forum so we could spend less time combing through often very difficult reports regarding tracing/program-generation.


How do i get noticed then because originally id upload to pmc my projects would be on the front page for a few days and that would rack up the views to about less than 50 depending on how good they are to others
yet i posted jolteon pixel art and samas arans ship pixel art to the forum and got no comments possibly no downloads and only a less than 100 views
idk it just isnt the same

actually it gives me an idea could theyre be a section on the main page that advertises the projects that are in the forum similar to the uploads so i could safely upload my projects and get noticed then again

or is it possible to upload a image of my project as a project upload but without the mcedit schematic and instead add a link to the forum in the description of the project.

because if i could do that then my issue would be solved

1. I already reported that to a site moderator: "Thanks for bringing that to our attention - it's simply leftover from a long time ago, when pixel art used to be allowed as a submission."

2 it was just an idea it wouldnt work people would abuse the system and put the category as pixel art instead of spritecraft anyway

im thinking maybe making an official post for all my uploads and updating it regularly the only reason i didnt try it is because i assumed my post regardless of it getting updated would not make it back to the front page so it would be forgotten about after the first post

cant they just gang together and fight back and get spritecraft and other programs like it removed completely
from my angle i just wish i could upload it ive had to put my projects on mediafire or on my website. nobody visits those sites so in the end i had to give up my hobby.
at least with pmc i got views people looked at it, liked it and left me a comment and a diamond if they really liked it its was great to get some recognition even if they were just copies of an image from the internet and not necessarily my own pixel art

i also dont see the problem with the spritecraft category maybe once a month you could completely wipe every project from the spritecraft category and really piss people off
ok im joking i do see the problem with spritecraft category and my idea would lead to more issues
