How are you going to help our server?:I can help the server in many different ways and topics. But first is to build a great community. I feel that many servers like players because of the community around them are negative. I feel like if we would put some effort into our relationships with new people and get to know them, i feel that more people would stay, and as a staff member I would make sure that's a main factor for me to do. I also want to be staff here because I want to make sure that a server like this doesn't go down the drain due to cheaters/hackers. I have seen many servers in my life time of minecraft loose many players due to cheaters killing or not following rules and making other residents of the server upset. I think you should chose me because I am a fun but will be respected staff member that wants to see this server improve and succeed.

I have just under a half a year in experience as a staff member, and even though it’s been a year since I was last staff, the knowledge I gained from being a helper never left. I know all the ins and outs of prism, I know how to use it effectively, and I know when to apply it to get the job done. Previously, as a staff member, I showed an affinity for modreqs. I’m confident that in my third term as a staff member, I could further improve my work ethic and quality through the use of a positive attitude and strong leadership ability. I am aware that I showed an extremely negative aura during my previous two terms. Fortunately, I intend to learn from my previous mistakes and use these mistakes to make myself a stronger link in the staff team and an overall better person. I believe that a staff member who displays astounding leadership qualities, positive attitude, and efficiency would benefit any staff team. I believe I exhibit all of these qualities.

-Attitude
I’ve been playing minecraft for about 6 years. That’s a long time. I keep up with this community and I look forward to talking to the people here every day. Minecraft is one of the best things that’s happened to me in my teenage life and has made me grow as a person. I understand some people’s distaste with me and I agree with those people. I have been improving greatly on my bad attitude and toxicity since the beginning of the year and I am ready for a third shot at the staff position.

Another thing I’d like to note here is that I can be remarkably unbiased in a professional setting. I am not afraid to admit that I dislike certain people on the server, but I will never let these feelings get in the way of my job. I am willing to issue a challenge to the current staff team, if I am caught being biased in anyway against any person, strip me from my rank.

-Worth Ethic and Activity
Usually, I am a laid back type of person, I find it very hard to start on something that takes a lot of time. However, once I’m passionate about something, I can never stop, momentum keeps building and I never lose focus. I’m also a great multitasker - I can message many people at a time while doing modreqs. Also, I managed to teach players how to use various commands all while maintaining a 30 modreq daily average on an network. For my previous work as a helper, I’ve been accoladed by many respected staff members, such as Onis, Cooleysworld, and even Sjoepappentrap who said “You always worked your [butt] off.”

Minecrafters might like me because I am extremely accessible. Besides in the game itself, I am available widely on Kik, Skype, the forums, and Teamspeak, and also my favorite Discord. Because of this, I am always open to suggestion, whether it comes from the players themselves or other members of the team. I believe staying accessible is very important between the community and the staff members, especially in the most recent times..

I understand that I am not a big talker on Teamspeak but that’s simply because I don’t like being in a room with lots of people and a prefer listening to music or just sitting in silence. However, I am more than happy to talk at any time, just send a poke or a PM my way!

On top of being consistently active in general, I can also be active on any timezone that’s necessary. I have a very loose schedule, being on a block schedule grants me with a plethora of free time, and I don't mind in the slightest spending this free time working on the server. This, coupled with my very strange sleeping schedule, makes it easy for me to moderate on the wee hours of the night or in the late morning. It all depends on where I am most needed.

Why should we pick you?:I want to obtain an staff postion on CubeCentral well, because there are very many reasons why. But the first reason is i like helping the new players. In real life due to having gone through APHonors and getting a job I've been tasked with getting projects and work done on a specific deadline. So I believe this work ethic will transfer over to minecraft where I will ensure to get any task assigned to me done in a quick and proficient manor. I'm also well versed in dealing with conflicts between people, if an issue arises I will make sure that it is solved quickly and quietly with both sides happy in the end if possible. Other than that I have a ton of experience will all types of plugins, writing permissions, building(I've also built my own prison server) and minecraft knowledge in general from all the years of playing.

In real life due to having gone through APHonors and getting a job I've been tasked with getting projects and work done on a specific deadline. So I believe this work ethic will transfer over to minecraft where I will ensure to get any task assigned to me done in a quick and proficient manor. I'm also well versed in dealing with conflicts between people, if an issue arises I will make sure that it is solved quickly and quietly with both sides happy in the end if possible. Other than that I have a ton of experience will all types of plugins, writing permissions, building(I've also built my own prison server) and minecraft knowledge in general from all the years of playing.

Why do you wish to become an staff member?
I want to become staff on your sever because well, because there are very many reasons why. But the first reason is i like helping the new players. I feel like that the reason many servers have players that come on everyday is the way they are welcomed. Like if that join the server and no one is there to welcome them or comfort them and answer their questions they feel left out and leave. When or if i get staff i would make sure to stop and welcome them into the server. Another way i can help this server is to do anything my superiors tell me to do. As any staff rank i know my spot in the rankings; the bottom. So saying that i must follow what they tell me for the better good of the server. Another reason i think i should be staff is because I want to improve this server. I feel like if I was staff I could help with anything i can and help problems between different members. Also if i see anyone hacking or cheating i feel like i am in the place to stop them from ruining other players experience on the sever.

What you enjoy about Minecraft:Well, I love the game for it's mindset. It has a world that is seemingly limetless and gives the player senses of necissity and priority. The curve goes up gently where the goal is simply "survive the night" at first and grows as the player progresses. And each goal is set by the player, there is no magic arrow showing you where to go or a Navi telling you what to do. And when you have diamond, It feels all the more rewarding because you know you spent endless hours working to get it, and most likley endless more trying to build things, explore, and mine. It's not like other games where you have pre-set objectives, and it's not like other creativity toys where you can just clap your hands and get things from it. Everything you earn in survival becomes rewarding pays off in the end, and that's where the underlying beauty comes from.

Now, with all it's perks, there are flaws. Let me name a few:
Of recent, Jeb has been taking Mobs in the wrong direction. When he made it so all passive mobs drop meat, it took away any sense of need from the pig. They became useless and arn't worth anything in the end anymore. It would be much more rewarding to come out of a cave with no food and a near-dead wolf and have to hunt down something specific in a short amount of time instead of being able to fufil the exact same purpose with any other animal, and get something extra out of the bunch. Not to mention, each mob dropping one item did add a lot to the veriety and aesthetics to the mob and enviornment that surrounds it. Zombies also became near-useless to kill, and it would seem obvious for magma slimes to drop magma cream, but Jeb seems to think it being both misleading and dissapointing is better... Also, silverfish need to drop something. All mobs need to drop something. A player needs a reason to kill a mob, or else it just becomes stupid and pointless
The combat system sucks ass. The mellee controls are stiff and don't feel natural. They also often attack the player in hoardes, so it becomes frustrating to only hit one enemy at a time. Left 4 Dead 2 is always going to be the best FPS with mellee combat, because you felt like you actually SWUNG the sword, not just clicked on a monster and have it take damage.
Experience. That SUCKS! it turned what was supposed to be a fun task and clear mark of progress, and turned it into a dumb and stupid and boring and dumb grind task with only ONE reward and often times frustrating payoffs. (50 levels for a SMITE V?! ****!). And with the threat of death, it becomes so unfun I am too afraid to actually EXPLORE! I get to about level 50 and get so afraid of dying that I don't leave the square kilometer near spawn. This is REALLY ****ING ANNOYING IF YOU DIE VIA LAVA and can't retreive your hard-earned prospects OR your hours of pointless grinding. This could be avoided if you simply carried over half your levels with each life, not lose it all and have to start all over again.
Brewing Stands: I hate it. I played the 1.9 pre-release of potions (the mod that activated it), and thought the system was great. So what if it didn't have user interface? Neither does redstone! It turned a experiment to see what combinations make what into waiting for each one to smelt before you can do anything fun. I think that system was more fun and rewarding than the brewing stand. Maybe turn the brewing stand into makeing Ale with wheat and hot cocao with cocoa beans, something that still is rewarding, but dosn't flipping take away what should be fun experimention! Besides, it would be much more fun to see a potion explode in your face after throwing in a wrong ingredient then it would be just staring at a blank screen waiting for nothing to happen.
Not being able to throw any type of explosives. I think that explosions are great, and think that having something you throw to greif your world or fight in PVP would be fun as HELL! I would LOVE an enchantment to like, fire a ghast fireball out of a bow!
Powered Minecrafts being pointless. I think it would be fun to be able to have a single powered minecart push or pull a string of others up a hill. It'd be like a train, not as fast as powered rails; but still efficient and reliable. "NOPE!" screams Mojang! "We shall keep it sucking more than a showgirl when the troops come home!"
It has more problems, but those are the only ones that break the game for me. Other than that, it's great. I'd like to see more people actually critisize the game (PS-you just lost it) rather than mindlessly flame or praise it. If anything, minecraft has taught us that graphics don't make a game.
What you look for in an effective minecraft server:I look for a great drive in the player fan base.

Experience: 6 years of various positions

Knowledge relating to the position: Moderator is a huge privilege, with more permissions and commands than you would imagine they would have.

/kick <playername> <reason> This particular forcibly removes a player from the server, normally as a punishment. You can add a reason to this command, which shows up on their disconnect message. For example;
/kick asshat1 griefing This would kick the player asshat1, and on his disconnect message screen, it would show ‘griefing’.
/tempban <playername> <datediff> This command kicks a player from the server, and also bans them, preventing them from rejoining for an amount of time mentioned. Unfortunately, you cannot add a reason to the end of this command. The format for the temporary ban times are as follows:
/tempban player 1m This would ban asshat1 for a total of 1 minute.
/tempban player 1h This would ban asshat1 for a total of 1 hour.
/tempban player 1d This would ban asshat1 for a total of 1 day.
/tempban player 1w This would ban asshat1 for a total of 1 week. It’ll show up as 7 days.
Mod+ Only /ban <playername> <reason> This command forcibly removes a player from the server, BUT, also prevents them from re-joining… Permanently.
Mod+ Only /unban <playername> This lifts the ban sentence from a player, and works with both permanent and temporary bans.
Mod+ Only /ipban <IP address> This command is recommended for a permanent ban, it prevents any account connecting from that IP to connect to the server. You can get the IP via /whois.
Mod+ Only /tempipban <IP address> <datediff> Fairly self explanatory. Temporary banning of an IP address. Similar to an IP ban, but you can add a time for the IP address to be banned for.[/color]
/mute <playername> <datediff> This prevents a player from using the normal chat, but be warned, the player can still use chat commands, such as /msg. The datediff is optional. Not having one equals a permanent mute, and having one equals a temporary mute. Refer to /tempban for datediff times. Also, type /mute <playername> once again to un-mute.
/vanish This command renders your character and nameplate COMPLETELY invisible, useful for spying on suspicious players. Type again to un-vanish.
/tp <playername> OR /tp <player> <player> The first one teleports you to <playername>, and the second specifies two players. The first player typed GETS teleported, and the second typed is where the first is teleported.
/a <insertmessage> This is admin chat, and the message you type gets shown only to mods +.
/seen <playername> This command allows you to see many statistics of <playername>. All of these stats MUST remain private. I cannot stress that enough.
/tphere <playername>
