    I'd like to share the very first step I do in making skins to make up for inacitivity :D




    First step:

    I usually create a mood board and fill it with pictures to get an idea of which outfits, features, colours, or aesthetics I'd like to aim for. Usually I do something regarding mil-tech or historical skins, but I also like experimenting too. Most references come from pinterest or simple image searches. Sometimes I also draw or photobash!




    Programs:

    I use skindex to make the actual skin, and the PMC skin editor to check how it looks in 3D throughout my process. I might change a few things here and there on the second layer based on how it looks in the PMC editor. The moodboard I use is Pureref! It's free, easy to use, and can be overlayed over your tabs and windows.



    I'm not one of the most popular MC skinmakers, but I'm happy to share more of the process if yall are ever interested

    how tf do people make resource packs/texture packs and like retexture every single thing. wait do they have like a whole team help them lmfao

    So basically, a texture pack is a zip file with all the textures of the mobs inside. You can find a copy of it online that you can download for free, so then you just take the images in the zip file, open them on a photo editor, and retexture them in the way you like. That's the important part of it basically. I have school and stuff so I'm not able to focus on the texture pack that I have rn, but I do upload every now and then.

    remember the last texture pack i made? welp i abandoned that one cuz i got bored lmao. its only going to be in due time that i do the same to this one but yeh i did something :P (dont mind the book at the right i'll fix it lol)

    BTW i must say the hardest challenge was removing the text gui for crafting in the inventory! im completely new to resource packs (this is still a huge WIP btw)
