I'm sure I am not the first to make the iconic genie from Aladdin, but I tried to make this original by adding the desert villager headband on him. This fits the Minecraft theme better.
The genie spawns in the deserts in the Overworld that collide with a soul sand valley in the Nether. Players might stumble across wells there, lit by a gold soul fire lantern, crafted like a soulfire lantern but with gold nuggets instead of iron ones. They can, of course, craft these themselves, too. Genies spawn from these lanterns and appear during daytime, then go back in during the night. The lantern and genie still function when carried around, but must be first crafted in the above location.
Genies trade different gemstones and other rare items such as nether stars and dragon eggs.
It is said that the genie and the wandering trader have some sort of feud between them, though it has yet to be confirmed....
