I'm sorry for replying so late, I don't check planet minecraft too often anymore. Anyway, the shield only works for bedrock edition, not java edition. If that's not the issue then it'll be either on planet minecrafts end or minecraft itself.

umm, idk what shield your thinking of, but this is as close to the original shield as i could get. And its definitely not upside down.
