Yes, our cat’s name is Karen.

No, that wasn’t her first name.

We actually didn’t first name her until she had to spend a night at a Cat Hotel. We just called her Kitty until that time. Then she was named Princess Moonlight or something like that by our oldest child.

No one called her that. Not even our kid that named her. She was always just Kitty.


Then one day, we noticed she kinda runs the house and is quite demanding. So we named her Karen. She now actually answers to Karen.


The new story of how we got her then became…

Yes, she legit just walked into our apartment one day and never left. Because that’s how you get a pet cat. They just choose you off the streets.
