Have you had problems using this mob pack?
when I try to use mine it doesn't work an it just looks like a normal shield

its something with pmc, they dont download at the "texture" packs themselves, just the files. I think its a problem with shields and the new nether mobs.

I actually like your better in terms of vanilla Minecraft, where the handle is makes more sense
