Although the Copper Golem was cool too, and I would've been fine with that one winning, I think the Allay was the right choice because it opened up so much cool stuff for Redstone. The Copper Golem is more along the lines of a fancy clock, in my opinion. Now that we've got the Allay, servers are going to perform way better due to fewer Hoppers causing lag with a lot of stuff.
