This mod prevents/removes all land animals from spawning (or ones that have spawned) when the difficulty is set to Peaceful. It also disables mobs on "Easy". So Peaceful = No mobs, no animals, Easy = Animals but no mobs, Normal and Hard = Mobs + Animals.
SSP only, you can leave it enabled in SMP but it will have no effect.
Install Instructions:
1. Download file
2. Find your .minecraft/bin folder
4. Put modded class files into minecraft.jar
5. Delete META-INF folder
6. Start game

Should be compatible with other mods that add animals/monsters, as long as they just added new stuff and didn't edit the EntityAnimal and EntityMob classes
