Description:
This data pack swaps the Java Edition achievements with the ones from the Bedrock Edition.
Known problems:
Installation instructions:
Download the bedrock_edition_advancement.zip and put it in the "datapacks" folder of your world (if there is no datapacks folder in your world, create one and put it in). You do NOT need to unzip it (you can though, but then make sure to extract it into an extra folder).
If there are any problems (advancements (not) triggering when they should (not) etc.) please feel free to comment below or message me directly.
I cannot guarantee that this will work with other data packs or on servers with plugins (since I cannot control whether a plugin changes vanilla behavior/commands etc. or not).
PS: This data pack has been used in the 4th Clash of the Creators event.
This data pack swaps the Java Edition achievements with the ones from the Bedrock Edition.
Known problems:
- If a location advancement isn't triggering (like "Ahoy" at underwater ruins) I can't do anything against that unfortunately. You probably will have to find another one to trigger the advancement.
- The Riptide trident advancement does not work in creative (it is based on durability usage)
- Some of the advancements use player heads for the icons, so if it lags sometime when you open the bedrock advancement tab you know why.

- Updated to 1.16.5

If you are talking about the normal /advancements command, you can already do that with the vanilla command by using the bedrock_edition namespace instead of the minecraft namespace:
/advancement grant @s only bedrock_edition:name_of_advancement
(and instead of name_of_advancement you write something like bake_bread or whichever advancement you want)It will even auto-suggest you the options, but keep in mind that there are also some non-visible advancements that are needed for functionality. Those usually have a number behind that in my datapack. (so bake_bread is the actual visible advancement, bake_bread_1 is something I use to detect when someone made bread)
