Finally updated to Minecraft 1.1. Sorry that i didn't updated to Minecraft 1.0.0, but for Minecraft 1.0.0, every time i installed mods / tried modding, i got a black screen, but here is the version for Minecraft 1.1

This is my first mod, so don't expect to much from it,but it is useful.

What does this mod contain?

A recipe to craft fire (look at the name from this mod XD)

Where can you use it for?

Use it to craft your chain armor, or have fun by burning everything in the world.

How to install Craftable Fire:

1. Open the zip archive (already done)
2. Open your start menu.
3. Go to run...
4. Type %appdata%
5. Open the folder .minecraft
6. Go in the bin folder.
7. Open the minecraft.jar file with winrar, 7zip or any other archiving program.
8. Install Modlaoder.
9. Drag mod_CraftableFire.class into your minecraft.jar
10. Delete the META-inf folder.

This mod is tho make it possible to craft your chain armor (see some other replies), and there must be a little bit of challenge to make it, so if i would make the value of fire you get higher, it would be way to easy to create a whole armor. Now you can already create the whole set with 3 times crafting...

make the fire to 32 (i think the amount of uses flint & steel have).

Yes, it think you are right, but that will make it waaaaaay to easy to craft the complete armor. (with 8 fire each time it is already easy, but then you can craft the whole armor in 1 time.)

The point for it is to be able to craft fire to be used to craft Chainmail.
