yes the tools do work, but only on minecraft 1.8 because i haven't updated them....

well i could, but then you wouldn't need to go out and look for more resources, the whole point in this (because diamond is rare and the best item) is that you can keep what you have, if you want to can look for more. Of course most people would go looking for more. I might try and do it for gold but i need to update all my coding programs and my plugins, so it is quite a lot of effort which is why these are not coded to the current version of minecraft.

I guess, but i'm still trying to update my mods at the moment having trouble with MCP but when i get it working then i'll improve it.

Speaking of slime i am making a slime mod, but if you like i can make a mod like you request. Would you like easier slime balls?, so its not as hard to get them.
