OMG this is a great list! The_Emperor_Mats,I love the idea of the gems having special powers. but it would be cool if you could smelt copper to make pennies and other coins with nickel or zinc (things you can add). another idea would be to make a table where you add a mineral like diamond, a bucket of water, and sugar to boil and make it its gem form.
