I have been working countless hours putting this mod together. And you guessed it! GeckoMod adds geckos into your Minecraft world! Who can't love these little creatures? Much more in store for the future!

Babies update!


INSTALL
  1. Follow the steps on http://www.minecraftforge.net/forum/index.php?topic=1976.0 to get Forge (skip if you already have Forge installed)
  2. Install GeckoMod like any other Forge mod: Download the file to the right and extract it to the "mods" folder located by your "versions" folder
  3. You can spawn geckos with the gecko spawn egg
  4. Enjoy your geckos

FAQ
  • How can I breed or temp the mobs? Seeds.
  • Do they spawn naturally? Yeah buddy!
  • Does it work with 1.6.2? Yes! Just download the bottom mirror, though I don't develop it anymore.
  • Does it work with 1.6.4? You bet!
  • It crashed! What do I do? Fill out the form on http://bit.ly/15NrGfx.

Just a quick update. I changed:
  • Better block scanning
  • Nicer textures

Suggestions:
1 - I think you can make the chameleon "get the block texture" for himself, then he will be compatible with any block, including blocks of other mods.

2 - SCALES! for each species... and maybe other personalized drops... whatever if they drop scales xD

3 - Other species, maybe a "teleporting ender gecko" and a water gecko that drops scales for make an armor to breath underwater and a sword that create water and a leopard gecko that's really fast.

4 - A item to store and teleport the tamed ones.

5 - they climb the wall? i think is cool if the geckos and chameleons you have can walk on the house's roof and walls.

6- alligators and megalainias that can kill you.

I really liked the mod xD

Suggestions:
