IMPORTANT: To download the mod: Click the download button and it should download the zip-file of the mod. Next double-click on it to open the zip file, there should be a .jar file of the mod. Then copy and paste the .jar file into the folder where you would like it to go. Then start up Minecraft 1.12.2 with Forge loaded to enjoy this amazing mod!

This mod adds in all of the magic of Harry Potter into Minecraft!

Currently on Version 1.5

  • Explore the Forbidden Forest
  • Discover new mobs
  • Fly on brooms
  • Show your house pride by wearing many new Hogwarts clothing
  • Befriend a pet owl
  • Create your own wand and cast spells and summon a patronus
  • Enjoy Herbology with many new plants
  • Wear Herbology robes
  • Discover Dragons, Nifflers, Bowtruckles, Owls, Phoenixes, Dementors, Werewolves, and many more mobs
  • Ride a Hippogriff or a Hippocampus
  • Eat Gillyweed and Fizzing Whizbees
  • Defeat Lord Voldemort
  • Fight the Acromantula mini-boss
  • Brew Potions
  • Learn new Spells and Potions using books
  • New content to come in the future



**Although the mod description says that it is 95% done that does not mean that I will not add to this mod, and I plan to do a lot more with this in the future. I put that it is 95% done because everything in the mod is functional. and works properly.

If there are any problems with my mod please tell me I would like to fix them.

I made this mod using YouthDigital's Mod Design 2 Course (https://my.youthdigital.com/courses/)

All models were created using Tabula
All images were created using Gimp
All programming was done in Eclipse

The Patronus mini-update adds in patronuses

New Content:
  • Each wand now had its own unique patronus (Press X key with wand to use!)
  • Voldemort's wand now casts spells (Cannot cast Expecto Patronum)

  • Expecto Patronum is now added to the spell book


Patronuses Added:
  • Chicken
  • Cow

  • Creeper

  • Horse

  • Llama

  • Ocelot

  • Parrot

  • Bear

  • Rabbit

  • Wolf

  • Spider

**I am aware that there is an issue with casting a patronus at an entity that causes the game to crash and I am working on fixing this!!

There are many spells. If you use the spell book you can see the different spells that you can use

It should be in the inventory, you could try searching it. You should check to see if you have the latest version too. That could always be the problem.
