Description
This simple mod adds an overlay in the top left corner of the HUD which shows the light level of the current block you're standing on and the possible spawns. Very handy when you need to see how good of a job you've done lighting up your base, or checking whether your crops will grow. It can even help when trying to build a mob farm, or searching for slime chunks.

How to install
Install ModLoader:
- Backup your minecraft.jar
- Download and install ModLoader.
- Run Minecraft to check if it still works.
- Extract the files from the .zip to your desktop (or somewhere you can keep handy).
- Open minecraft.jar in an archive program (WinRar, WinZip, 7zip, etc...).
- Drag the files you extracted earlier into minecraft.jar
- Run Minecraft to check if it still works.
How to Use
- Press 'L' on your keyboard to toggle the different overlay states.
- Edit the config file to change various settings.
Config File
.minecraft/mods/lightMonitor.config
The config file lets you:
- Change the KEYBINDING (Default Key - L).
- Toggle text shadow.
- Toggle the background overlay.
- Set the DEFAULT OVERLAY STATE, where 1 = the full overlay, 2 = only the light, 0 = hidden.
