About 



There are currently 16 types of colored glass lamps, one for each of the dye colors, as well as 6 types of wooden lamps for each of the wood types. Colored glass lamps are crafted by surrounding a piece of redstone with 8 blocks of a colored glass, yielding 8 colored glass lamps. Wooden lamps are crafted by surrounding a piece of redstone with 4 wooden planks and 4 glass panes, yielding 4 wooden lamps.

How to Install



To install LightsPlus, use the following steps.
  1. Download and install Minecraft Forge. (Version 10.13.4.1448 Recommended)
  2. Download LightsPlus. (Version 1.1.0)
  3. Copy or move the LightsPlus .jar file into the “mods” directory in your .minecraft folder.
  4. Start Minecraft using the appropriate Forge version.

  • More lamp varieties and other lighting options
  • Toggle between redstone-controlled and self-powered
  • Lamp GUI for controlling settings
  • Colored lighting

I noticed in your planned features you have Colored Lighting, I would love to see this as the colored lights mod is no longer being worked on and has yet to be passed on to someone else.

I can't promise how soon this feature will be implemented, but it is still on the agenda. There are a lot of lighting engine quirks I need to work out. I will keep the project updated as progress is made though!

Thanks for letting me know, atleast it's something to look forward to, perhaps the colored lights mod has an open source code you could look at to help you.

You should swap the redstone with glowstone, or a redstone lamp. Or maybe redstone in the middle-bottom and glowstone above it. Nice mod though :)

I've considered adding glowstone into the recipe to make it a slightly more challenging to craft. This may come in a future update. Thanks for your input!
