MC Inventory Transfer
Move a player's inventory from one Minecraft Java world to another — in a few clicks, with automatic backups.

MC Inventory Transfer Minecraft Mod

Started a new world, a new server, or a new modpack instance and want to keep your stuff? MC Inventory Transfer copies (or moves) a player's inventory between two Java Edition worlds, singleplayer or server, without any NBT editing.

Features

- **Everything you carry**: inventory, armor and off hand, ender chest, experience, plus optional health/hunger and active effects.
- **Visual preview**: see both inventories side by side with item icons, enchantment and content indicators (shulker boxes, bundles, backpacks).
- **Player names from UUIDs**: player files are named by UUID — the tool shows the player's name and head automatically.- **Replace or merge**: overwrite the target inventory, or add items into its free slots. Optional *Move* mode empties the source to avoid duplicates.
- **All versions, safely**: from 1.9 to 26.x. A compatibility check runs before every transfer and blocks anything that would lose items (e.g. new → old version), with clear explanations.
- **Modded backpacks**: Sophisticated Backpacks contents are copied with the backpack; Traveler's Backpack, Backpacked, shulker boxes… follow automatically. Accessory slots (Curios, Trinkets, Accessories) can be transferred too.
- **Automatic backups**: every modified file is backed up first. One click restores it. If anything fails, changes are rolled back automatically.
- **Finds your worlds**: official launcher, CurseForge, Prism, Modrinth, GDLauncher — or browse to any world/server folder.
- **English & French** interface.

How to use
1. **Close the worlds in Minecraft** (or stop the server).
2. Pick the **source** world and player on the left, the **target** world and player on the right. The target player must have joined the target world at least once.
3. Choose what to transfer, check the analysis in the middle, then click **Transfer**.
4. Open the target world in Minecraft. Something wrong? **Backups → Restore**.

Download & install
- Download the zip, extract it, run `MCInventoryTransfer.exe`. No installation, no extra runtime needed (Windows 10/11, 64-bit).- **Windows SmartScreen** may show "Windows protected your PC" because the app is not code-signed: click **More info → Run anyway**.

Good to know

- Item images are read from the Minecraft game installed on your PC (no game files are included). If none are found, a button in Settings downloads the official files from Mojang.
- Player names are looked up with Mojang's public API (only the UUID is sent). You can disable this in Settings.
- Always keep your own backups of important worlds.

Changelog
**1.1.4** — Item images for 1.21.4+ / 26.x game files, layout fixes.
**1.1.3** — License notice. **1.1.2** — Protection against decompilation.
**1.1.1** — Chest and grass block icons. **1.1.0** — Item images, English/French interface.
**1.0.0** — First release.
