This is my first mod, The Amethyst Mod for Minecraft 1.10.7. It currently includes Amethyst, Amethyst Ore and a Amethyst Block. It randomly generates underground and I plan to add new uses for this ore.

It's just a hue shift of other preexisting stuff that you can find in game. Mods like this are a dime a dozen. Probably some first mod tutorial goes over stuff like this. Don't get me wrong, it's still more modding on the client than I have done. It's just kind of uninspired.
