Overview
This is a program intended as an add-on of sorts to the official Minecraft server client provided by Mojang. It allows everyday users to easily set up a quick Minecraft server for free.
What this program does is work as a supplement to the free server client downloadable through the Minecraft launcher. It can open and close the server client, upload singleplayer worlds to the server, and also download the world being hosted back into singleplayer / make backups all in a simple GUI.
Download: Minecraft Server Manager In case you don't want to go through the hassle of unzipping the file.
Usage Guide: https://imgur.com/a/aF6eqKC This is also accessible via the program.
About the Program
I originally created this for my sister who wanted to play with one of my other sisters in the same world. I realized that I could probably help some other people as well, so I decided to upload it here. The program is as full proof as I could manage, but there might still be some issues. If you have any bugs, please DM me on Planet Minecraft. I don't play Minecraft very frequently, so it might take a while for me to respond and address the issue.
I programmed this in HTML and VBScript in an .hta file. This means that it only runs on Windows. Sorry Linux / Mac! It took me a mere hour or two to program most of it, but it took a good while before I stamped out any of the bugs. Again, please let me know about anything you find! I already know of the issue that you can't backup the server while currently on the singleplayer tab in Minecraft. I can't do anything to fix that.
