🌀 Morphing Bracelet Reborn: Redesign

Steal their shape. Keep their tricks. Hide the evidence.

Ever looked at a Creeper and thought:

“Yeah. I could probably get away with that.”

Morphing Bracelet Reborn: Redesign turns Minecraft Bedrock into one enormous disguise box.

Capture mobs. Absorb blocks. Unlock variants. Copy abilities. Transform into more than 1,100 packaged mob and block forms.

Become a cow and quietly join somebody’s farm.

Turn into stone and vanish inside a cave.

Fly as a Ghast, fire arrows as a Skeleton, unleash a Warden’s sonic boom, disguise yourself as a flower, or settle into your friend’s house as a crafting table that definitely was not there five minutes ago.

This is not just Steve wearing a badly fitted mob costume.

Your:

    • Model

    • Animations

    • Camera

    • Movement

    • Sounds

    • Weapons

    • Abilities

    • Equipment visibility

change to match the form you choose.

🛡️ Armor That Understands Your Morph

One of the biggest Redesign upgrades is the new morph-aware equipment system.

Your player armor and Elytra no longer float around animals, blocks, Withers and other forms that clearly have nowhere sensible to wear them.

This means:

    • Armor disappears on incompatible mob forms.

    • Elytra no longer hovers behind blocks and animals.

    • Block disguises stop being surrounded by floating player equipment.

    • Withers and other unusual shapes no longer wear armor around empty space.

    • Normal player forms keep normal player armor.

    • Armor trims remain visible on the player.

    • Dyed leather armor keeps its colour.

    • Enchanted armor keeps its glint.

    • Native mob effects remain independent.

Effects such as:

    • Wither shielding

    • Charged Creeper energy

    • Stray and Bogged overlays

    • Nautilus armor

    • Other native morph layers

still belong to the morph and are not treated as player armor.

Armor-capable humanoid morphs are also being moved onto proper Minecraft humanoid armor geometry instead of stretching player armor around the wrong body shape.

The important part is simple:

Turning into a chicken no longer leaves a full suit of armor floating around where Steve used to be.

🧬 Capture and Transform

The normal Morphing Bracelet is designed for survival progression.

To unlock forms:

    • Defeat supported mobs while carrying the Bracelet.

    • Break supported blocks while carrying the Bracelet.

    • Sneak-use the Bracelet directly on supported blocks.

    • Open the Bracelet menu and select an unlocked disguise.

Your captured forms are stored per player.

The normal Bracelet has durability and can eventually break, because apparently stuffing hundreds of souls into jewellery causes structural problems.

Recharge it by holding it while standing on:

    • Soul Sand

    • Soul Soil

The Bracelet can also be enchanted.

Unbreaking is strongly recommended.

Want Everything Immediately?

The Metamorphing Bracelet is the creative and admin version.

It provides instant access to the complete packaged disguise library without requiring you to capture every mob and block first.

🐮 More Than 1,100 Forms

Transform into passive mobs, monsters, villagers, Illagers, Nether creatures, aquatic mobs, flying mobs, babies, variants and bosses.

The library includes forms such as:

    • Cows, pigs, sheep, chickens and rabbits

    • Wolves, cats, foxes and horses

    • Villagers, Illagers and Piglins

    • Zombies, Skeletons, Creepers and Spiders

    • Guardians, Blazes, Ghasts and Shulkers

    • Wardens, Withers and the Ender Dragon

    • Baby mobs

    • Tiny Takeover-supported variants

    • Biome variants

    • Colour variants

    • Equipment variants

    • Special mob states

    • Hundreds of block disguises

Morphs use matching geometry, animations, sounds, movement styles and abilities where supported.

Some forms move differently from a normal player because watching an Ender Dragon jog around like Steve would rather ruin the illusion.

Shulker Movement

Vanilla Shulkers do not walk around.

Unfortunately, being permanently welded to the floor is not particularly fun.

Shulker morphs therefore retain limited movement. It may not be completely vanilla-accurate, but it is better than spending the rest of the world trapped beside the first wall you touched.

⚔️ Mob Weapons and Abilities

Certain forms automatically receive their signature equipment or powers.

Use its tricks.

Try not to immediately test the Warden sonic boom inside your own house...or do??

🧱 More Than 450 Block Disguises

Why fight anybody when you can become part of the wall?

Transform into:

    • Stone

    • Dirt

    • Sand

    • Logs

    • Ores

    • Copper

    • Glass

    • Wool

    • Nether blocks

    • End blocks

    • Workstations

    • Lighting blocks

    • Functional blocks

    • Plants

    • Flowers

    • Mushrooms

    • Ladders

    • Hundreds of other suspiciously mobile pieces of scenery

Block forms can move normally or settle into the world for a much more convincing disguise.

Some blocks look perfectly acceptable while moving.

Some look slightly wrong.

Some look like ass until you settle.

It depends on the block.

🌷 New Decorative Plant Disguises

Redesign v1.5.35 adds 21 new decorative forms:

    • Dandelion

    • Poppy

    • Blue Orchid

    • Allium

    • Azure Bluet

    • Red Tulip

    • Orange Tulip

    • White Tulip

    • Pink Tulip

    • Oxeye Daisy

    • Cornflower

    • Lily of the Valley

    • Wither Rose

    • Brown Mushroom

    • Red Mushroom

    • Dead Bush

    • Short Grass

    • Fern

    • Tall Grass

    • Large Fern

    • Ladder

These are not full block cubes with a flower badly painted onto them.

The Redesign includes:

    • Dedicated crossed-plane plant geometry

    • Proper two-block-tall plant geometry

    • Dedicated ladder geometry

    • Correct grass and fern biome tinting

    • High-resolution menu icons

    • Complete capture events

    • Complete transformation mappings

You can now hide in somebody’s garden instead of merely becoming a dirt block and hoping they do not look down.

🔒 Improved Settled Disguises

Settled disguises now stay anchored to the world instead of following your camera direction.

You can look around freely without your supposedly ordinary block rotating every time you move your head.

Settled Controls

    • Sneak + Jump: Settle your active block form.

    • Jump while settled: Rotate the disguise by one quarter turn.

    • Sneak + Jump while settled: Release the disguise and move again.

The settled axis lock now applies consistently across:

    • Standard blocks

    • Functional blocks

    • Decorative forms

    • Full cubes

    • Thin forms

    • Plants

    • Ladders

Thin proxies such as torches and lanterns are position-corrected while remaining locked in place.

This means you can settle, rotate into position and then look around without exposing yourself as the world’s most nervous furnace.

🔥 Functional and Glowing Forms

Supported functional disguises include forms such as:

    • Torches

    • Soul Torches

    • Copper Torches

    • Redstone Torches

    • Lanterns

    • Campfires

    • Bells

    • Barrels

    • Furnaces

    • Crafting Tables

    • Smithing Tables

    • Looms

    • Cartography Tables

    • Jukeboxes

    • Note Blocks

    • Droppers

    • Dispensers

When supported forms settle, they can temporarily create an appropriate real block or safe proxy.

This allows certain forms to preserve things such as:

    • Lighting

    • Sounds

    • Interaction

    • Animation

    • More accurate visuals

Dangerous technical blocks remain restricted or visual-only.

Becoming TNT does not quietly provide a convenient world-destruction button.

💡 Invisible Moving Light

Luminous disguises are being redesigned to use invisible normal Minecraft lighting instead of a visible follower torch or RTX-only light source.

The intended system:

    • Places an invisible light source near the moving morph.

    • Removes the previous light before advancing.

    • Avoids leaving visible torches behind the player.

    • Works with normal Minecraft lighting.

    • Does not require RTX just to illuminate nearby blocks.

    • Creates the appropriate real luminous block when settled.

Supported settled forms can still create real torches, lanterns, campfires or luminous blocks where appropriate.

The moving-light cleanup system currently has a known issue listed near the bottom of this page.

🔎 A Menu Built for a Ridiculous Library

Trying to browse more than 1,100 forms one page at a time would be cruel.

The Bracelet menu includes:

    • Relevance-ranked search

    • Separate mob and block browsing

    • Alphabetical mob families

    • Logical block families

    • Pinned favourites

    • Recent transformations

    • Variant selection pages

    • Transformation effect settings

    • Custom icons

    • A Hard Reset recovery option

Search familiar terms such as:

    • stone

    • baby

    • villager

    • copper

    • torch

    • flower

    • wool

and get useful results instead of manually inspecting hundreds of menu pages.

You can pin up to 12 favourite forms per player.

✨ Custom Transformation Effects

Choose from multiple transformation styles:

    • Arcane Materialize

    • Sky Strike

    • Prismatic Rift

    • Soul Spiral

    • Shadow Snap

    • Celestial Gate

    • Void Bloom

    • Ember Forge

    • Verdant Bloom

    • Frost Veil

    • Chrono Sigil

    • Oceanic Surge

You can also change the colour palette and effect intensity.

Available intensity options include:

    • Soft

    • Normal

    • Showcase

    • Disabled

Particle budgets are capped to remain friendlier to:

    • Mobile devices

    • Consoles

    • Realms

    • Multiplayer worlds

    • Computers that begin making aircraft noises when too many particles appear

🧪 Store and Share Morphs

Soul Glass Bottles let you store your current transformation and give it to another player.

To use one:

    1. Transform into the form you want to store.

    1. Use an empty Soul Glass Bottle.

    1. The current form is captured inside.

    1. Give the filled bottle to another player.

    1. They can use the stored disguise even if they have not captured it themselves.

Perfect for:

    • Multiplayer teams

    • Roleplay servers

    • Realm events

    • Trading rare forms

    • Helping new players

    • Questionable business deals involving bottled Creepers

📘 In-Game Guidebook

The included physical guidebook explains:

    • Crafting the Bracelets

    • Recharging the normal Bracelet

    • Capturing mobs

    • Capturing blocks

    • Searching for forms

    • Pinning favourites

    • Settling block disguises

    • Rotating settled forms

    • Functional blocks

    • Mob weapons and abilities

    • Transformation effects

    • Soul Glass Bottles

    • Hard Reset recovery

    • Multiplayer and Realm setup

    • Common troubleshooting

So your friends can learn the add-on without making you explain Sneak + Jump every five minutes.

They will still ask.

The book tried.

You tried.

We all tried.

⚙️ Redesign Runtime

The Redesign edition keeps the existing MBR experience while rebuilding the machinery underneath it.

The runtime now includes:

    • One central recurring scheduler

    • Shared per-player morph sessions

    • Cleaner transformation state management

    • Improved multiplayer isolation

    • Safer cleanup when changing forms

    • A constrained condition evaluator

    • No runtime eval

    • No runtime new Function

    • Generated catalogue snapshots

    • TypeScript contract checking

    • ESLint validation

    • Minecraft-specific linting

    • JSON validation

    • Render-route validation

    • Package-layout validation

    • Separate development GameTests

Development tests cover areas such as:

    • Players joining

    • Morph transitions

    • Cleanup

    • Multiplayer isolation

    • Separate player sessions

Obsolete SGS Duck, Turkey, Hare, Rat, Shire Horse and Tractor registrations from previous test builds have been removed.

Duplicate and replaced runtime definitions have also been removed from production builds.

It is still Minecraft Bedrock, so the possibility of completely unreasonable behaviour can never be eliminated.

🎮 Perfect For

    • Survival playthroughs

    • Hide-and-seek

    • Multiplayer chaos

    • Realm events

    • Roleplay

    • Stealth

    • Base infiltration

    • Creative testing

    • Mob battles

    • Adventure maps

    • Becoming one flower in a field and refusing to explain yourself

    • Pranks that are probably worth being removed from the server for

🚀 Installation

Install Steps

    1. Remove older MBR Redesign imports from Minecraft.

    1. Download and open the latest Redesign .mcaddon.

    1. Allow Minecraft to import both packs.

    1. Activate the MBR Redesign Behavior Pack.

    1. Activate the matching MBR Redesign Resource Pack.

    1. Enable Beta APIs when requested.

    1. Require resource packs for multiplayer and Realm players.

    1. Load the world.

Both packs are required.

Development GameTests and archived definitions are excluded from production packages.

Do Not Mix Versions

Do not combine:

    • Redesign v1.5.35 BP with an older Redesign RP

    • Redesign v1.5.35 RP with an older Redesign BP

    • Redesign packs with files from the standard MBR release

    • Current packs with stale manually copied UI files

Mismatched packs can cause:

    • Missing textures

    • Invisible morphs

    • Broken geometry

    • Missing menus

    • Incorrect animations

    • Failed transformations

    • Forms that technically exist but resemble evidence from a crime scene

Minecraft may retain old imported pack files, so remove previous Redesign imports before testing a newer build.

⚠️ Known Issues and Work in Progress

The following problems are known in Redesign v1.5.35.

Moving Dynamic Light Cleanup

Moving luminous forms are intended to remove the previous invisible light cell before advancing.

This cleanup is currently bugged and may leave light behind or fail to move the light correctly.

Settling supported luminous forms should still create the appropriate real torch, lantern, campfire or luminous block.

Humanoid Morph Armor Geometry

Armor hiding on incompatible forms is the main completed improvement.

However, the newer humanoid armor geometry system is still a work in progress.

Armor-capable humanoid morphs may currently show:

    • Incorrect positioning

    • Incorrect scaling

    • Misaligned armor parts

    • Other visual problems

Normal player armor geometry, trims, leather tint, enchantment glint and standard player offsets remain separate.

Beta APIs

Beta APIs are required.

Minecraft updates can change Script API behaviour and may introduce new problems even when the add-on itself has not changed.

Stale Imported Packs

Minecraft sometimes retains older pack files after an update.

When testing a new Redesign build:

    1. Remove older Redesign imports.

    1. Restart Minecraft if necessary.

    1. Import the new .mcaddon.

    1. Confirm that the BP and RP versions match.

Do not report a morph as invisible while using a Behavior Pack and Resource Pack from different universes.

🌀 Become Anything

Capture the world.

Steal its shapes.

Use its abilities.

Hide your armor.

Become the mob, the block, the flower, the ladder or the crafting table nobody remembers placing.

And when something inevitably looks cursed, press Hard Reset and pretend it never happened.
