Minecraft 1.7.10 - 3.4
Last Release 2/13/15

Recycle Items Plus Mod allows you to smelt most items to get 33% of the precious materials used to craft it. The mod adds in 3 new items, Iron Nugget, Diamond Nugget, and Emerald Nugget. Those work exactly like Gold Nuggets. Put the nuggets in all spots in the crafting table, you will get the ingot, and vice versa. The key below explains more.

NEW CONFIG FILE: You can now change the Id's manually to be compatable with other mods!

1 ingot = 9 Nuggets(The amount of materials used in the Item/block) = (Amount of Ingots after smelting)
1 → 3 nuggets
2 → 6 nuggets
3 → 9 nuggets, 1 ingots
4 → 12 nuggets
5 → 15 nuggets
6 → 18 nuggets, 2 ingots
7 → 21 nuggets
8 → 24 nuggets
9 → 27 nuggets, 3 ingots

  1. Pop the .zip into the mods folder. (Located /%appdata%/.minecraft/mods )
  2. --If you dont have the mods folder just run minecraft with the forge installer.
  3. Done!

I can't find the config file, I just downloaded 1.7.10 - 3.4

is there a way to disable the shapeless crafting for bone meal, and require you to smelt food to get bone meal? thanks

This is a great mod with lots of potential!! Diamond for you
I'm thinking that maybe you could increase return values to 50 or 66 percent, because 30 kind of feels like a low number.
Or you could do a poll on your minecraft forum recycle items page :)

I have discovered one issue.  The gold created from recylcing items has a subvalue of 1 while the gold from vanilla Minecraft does not.  Therefore, I am unable to craft nuggets from the non-vanilla gold ingots, nor am I unable to combine it with the vanilla gold ingots in my inventory slots.  Aside from that, this mod looks good so far.

What mod version are you using? What MC version are you using? I am not having this problem when I run it. I can combine Gold ingots from smelting and regular ones, AND craft them. Same goes with nuggets. To my game, they are the same item. Whats items are having this problem?

Sorry for the very late reply.  I spend more time on Minecraft Forum vs. this site.  The issue eixsts when attempting to recycle the Iron Horse Amor and the Gold Horse Amor.  I did find a work around using Minetweaker and a little scripting.  :)  Everything else works fine, however.  It is just on those two items.  Recylcing those two result in ingots with a metadata (DV) value of 1 (which is supposed to be non-existant on an ingot).  I can either Shift+Click them to combine them with a proper ingot (with no Metadata value) to get it usable again, or just run the script like I do to keep it working. :)  [Plus, as a little bonus, I took the Minetweaker script and following the concept you started within your mod, I expanded it to "recycle" items from other mods.  Thanks for a good mod.  Again, sorry for the late reply..
