The SkyZone mod is an attempt to create a world generation mod which replaces the normal Minecraft generator with a world similar in nature to and inspired by Noobcrew's SkyBlock map. Content has been updated to reflect changes in Minecraft as well as take advantage of the fact that this is a mod and not just a map.

The major features of this mod include:

• A witch's hut in the sky
  
• Every current renewable resource can be obtained in this world
  
• Additional achievements
  
• Ability to spawn every Minecraft mob (it may take some work to get them though)
  
• As a world generator, included is Survival, Creative, and Hardcore modes to worlds generated
  
• Endless chunks (you will never hit the "mainland" on these maps)
  
• The ability to earn every Minecraft achievement in vanilla Minecraft in these worlds
  
• In addition to the Overworld replacement, alternate version of the Nether and End are in this world
  
• Items are not found in chests, but rather found as resources to be obtained and extracted.
  
• Netherquartz in the Nether
  
• Spawning Wither Skeletons
  
  

The overall design philosophy of this mod is starting with a minimal amount of resources and a whole lot of effort and planning you should be able to obtain everything and access most features of Minecraft. Essentially this is a blank canvas that you can create the world you would like to see, and to create that world with your own bare hands. Nothing is handed to you in this world, as you must puzzle your way through various challenges simply to access some kinds of content. There are surprises to be found on this map, and there is a reason for every block that you see.
