Twinecraft is a twitter client mod for Minecraft. It allows you to receive and send Twitter tweets from right inside the game using the game's own user interface to make it blend nicely with your game. As new tweets arrive, they will appear in the Minecraft chat bar at the bottom of the screen. To send a tweet yourself, press the F10 key to bring up the tweet panel, type up to 140 characters, and click the 'send tweet' button.

*** VERSION 1.1.0 UPDATE:
A few minor bug fixes.
Now more secure and efficient. Talks directly to Twitter instead of using proxy.
No more editing a config file, authentication with twitter is built right in.
Two step install process (one if you already have modloader installed already)

This is for Minecraft 1.8.1 and I plan up update it as new versions of Minecraft are released, but I won't be making versions for the pre-releases of Minecraft. It requires Modloader 1.8.1

Thanks for the comments guys! you know, I was thinking of doing one for facebook too, its a little harder, but certainly possible. Going to make a few more enhancements to this mod first, then I'll have a go.
Took about a week to make this, as I had some code already written to re-use for it.
