In 1837, Samuel Morse created and patented his electronic telegraph. In 2013, I, Dawgeth, give you Telecrapht....
Twitter is a great way to interact with friends, family, and as a Youtuber, subscribers. When I'm recording or running around on my server, I wanted a way to keep up with tweets, hashtags I like, and also allow the ability to tweet from the Minecraft chat box.
As a .NET developer in my "real life" job, making the jump back to Java wasn't hard, and integrating with twitter4j was cake. I've only spent an hour or 2 on this, and it's just a skeleton of what its going to be - need to refactor, recode, and come up with more features - but I wanted to have a sort of "devlog" to share with you guys, and hopefully gather up some interest in the project.

- Twitter Account
- Forge 1.6.2
Install:
1. Download Zip File
2. Unzip to .MINECRAFT DIRECTORY, it'll put everything where it belongs.
3. Launch Minecraft
4. Once in, type /tc authorize.
5. A link will be generated and output into chat. Click on this.
6. You will be forwarded to Twitter to authorize the app. Click Authorize.
7. You will be given a PIN number. Copy this to clipboard and go back into Minecraft.
8. Type /tc confirm YOURPINHERE .. and hit enter
9. You will get a success message.
You can now use the /tweet command and the twitter blocks!
Crafting Recipes

- /tc authorize - starts authorization process.
- /tc confirm - finalizes the authorization process.
- /tweet - sends a tweet to your timeline.
Tweeting Screenshots!
In Game, Hit F12 - This will take a screenshot of your screen, and post it to Twitter with a status message from the Configuration file!
If you don't want the DEFAULT TWEET PIC TEXT:
1. Go to your .MINECRAFTConfigs folder.
2. Open Telecrapht.cfg
3. Edit the following:
S:ScreenShotAnnouncement=Minecraft shenanigans brought to you by #Telecrapht
to whatever you want. MAKE SURE IT'S UNDER 140 CHARACTERS
4. Save the file
5. Re-launch the game.

I've got Facebook updating working within Minecraft. The only problem is, the authorization/configuration is manual and not done within game.
While I think about how I'm wanting to do that - would anyone be interested in testing?
