Welcome to Versus PVP! What is Versus, you may be asking? Versus is a Class-based PVP minigame that Camper_Mason thought up recently. It features two teams, Red and Blue, fighting around a small "world" I guess you could say, with many different scenic small biomes. Everything in this map is 100% vanilla, without any bukkit. It is all controlled with command blocks. The objective of the game is to be the first to get to 50 kills. What makes this map different is that all the classes are pretty well rounded. They also encourage teamwork amongst themselves. For an example, the tank gets slowness 4, meaning another class has to back them up, and give them support.
The current classes are:
Warrior
Archer
Scout
Pyro
Tank
Now you see me (Invisible)
There are a lot of hidden things to find around this map, including little tunnels to get you out of certain situations, drops to trick other players, and even areas that only certain classes can get to. An example of this would be that the pyro gets fire resistance, meaning lava will not affect you.
There are a few things you should be aware of. The tutorial video should cover most of these. The most important one is to always have your hotbar set in the 1 position when choosing a class. Otherwise you will not get the enchantment on your stuff. You MUST have command blocks on as well. Make sure mobs are off. Make sure keepInventory is on. Play on at least easy, never peaceful. Do not leave the boundaries of the map.
