Hello hello! My name is Annie.

I've recently fallen head-over-heels for the series One Punch Man, and I was disappointed to find that there were no OPM minecraft servers. So, I took it upon myself to make one. I’ve done quite a bit of work on it - not yet finished, but I’ve only just realized that perhaps I should run an interest-check to see what the community thinks.

Don't worry if you don't watch OPM - the server is set up with tutorials so that even someone with no knowledge of the series can have a grand time.

Intricate Cities and NPCs

While at first a daunting undertaking, I've taken it upon myself to include every mentioned city in the series. These are filled with NPCs, quests, and loot-chests that are frequently refilled. Helping the townspeople will also count towards one's rank in the Hero's Association.



Exploration and Modded Terrain

This server will use a few forge mods to enhance gameplay. Outside the cities lay the Wildlands, where Heroes can gather materials and train themselves to the top of their tiers. While dungeons, mineshafts, etc are available, players who prefer action and combat DO NOT need to waste their time mining and can instead make a living out of killing monsters and buying materials instead.



Hero Tiers

Of course, what would a OPM server be without Heroes scrambling for glory and strength? All players are encouraged to join the Hero's Association and work their way to the top of the pile, gaining fame and respect with killcount and selflessness to the townsfolk.



Monsters

Utilising the CustomNPCs mod, boss monsters can be completely customisable - shape, size, movement, health, attacks and AI. This is, of course, vital to recreating the One Punch Man experience, where all sorts of different monsters terrorise the cities.



Combat

Mods in this server were specially chosen to allow for a wide array of combat styles - Heroes can choose to specialize in sorcery (AM2), dark magic (Witchery), swordsmanship (DSSkills) and various ranged combat styles (Balkon's Weapons), and much more. A greatly-balanced McMMO plugin allows for further customisation of skills.



Economy and Playstyle

As mentioned above, I didn't like the idea of stripping away the ability to explore and adventure, as most Minecrafters enjoy. However, I also understand that some prefer the high-action style of One Punch Man. Therefore, players are also free to choose their own playstyle - Heroes who can prove themselves resourceful for the Association are similarly important as those who can fight. Marketplaces will be set up for those who prefer to slaughter monsters, as killing mobs will earn one plenty of money as well.



Experienced Staff

Well, just me for now. Regarding experience: I've run a small RP server for the anime One Piece before, and it was a decent success from which I've learnt a lot about server-management. It was eventually closed down as I entered Senior Year and grew too busy, but that's over now, and I terribly miss the feeling of running a small community. I currently also hold a Manager position in one of the largest factions servers out there - Desteria. From all this, I believe in my ability to run Z-City in a professional and balanced manner.



Saitama

This small, bald man wanders around in his hometown - City Z, idly killing monsters and looking for good deals. Unlike most NPCs, he can be hit. The Association holds no responsibility for any permanent injuries sustained as a result.

With all that said, would anyone be interested in participating in the beta-testing of Z-City?
It would be super if I could gage the community interest and decide on how to tackle this project.
