I was around 10 years old back in 2015. Life at the time is kind of a blur everything felt chaotic. I was living in a foster home, just trying to make sense of things day by day.
In the living quarters, there was a PS4. I remember the feeling when I saw it had Minecraft installed I was hyped. It felt like an escape, like something that was mine. I made a PSN account and jumped in, but I didn’t really know what to create. So I started simple: a flat world.
I told myself I was going to build a city.
And I meant it. I would sit in that room for hours sometimes all day just building, block by block. It became my space, my way of thinking, my way of being somewhere else when everything around me felt unstable.
But somewhere around 11 or 12, things changed. I started running away, smoking, drinking, getting into fights… and that world I had built slowly got left behind. Forgotten.
Years passed.
In 2023, I finally got my own apartment. I had gotten off the streets and was trying to rebuild my life in a different way. One day, I was scrolling through my PS5, just looking around and then I saw it.
A random save file from 2015.
I opened it.
And I just sat there… in tears.
Everything came back. The memories, the feeling, that kid who just wanted to build something of their own. And in that moment, I made a promise to myself
I’m going to finish what that kid started.
So I began rebuilding. Not with a strict plan, just letting my mind go wild like I used to. Piece by piece, I tried to reconnect with that version of myself.
Along the way, I also started writing some of the creator’s lore and story directly into the world adding meaning behind the builds, turning it into more than just a city, but something personal and alive.
But now, life is different again. Time is limited, and I don’t know if I’ll be able to finish it the way I wanted to.
So I’m giving someone else the opportunity to carry it forward.
This world has years behind it memories, time, and a story that means a lot to me.
The world has books hidden with Real life stories and lore
JAVA AND BEDROCK
