After minecraft updates to 1.8 all the seeds you know and love will be rendered useless. This id due to a new generator for worlds:( So I went and made the seed 404 challenge while 1.7 is still out. Plus a survival kit and rules. Enjoy!

Your right... I'm going to favorite this so I can find it again! And there's a seed I like that I wouldn't want to lose... (The seed is "snow".) So I'm goin to make a worldsave of it!

But already generated world like the one i uploaded will not be changed. So your stuff wont be gone:) but if you explore more on your world be prepared to find all the new things

Also the addition of rivers and mountains and deep oceans might mess up parts of a seed you like

What i meant was there is a new biome code and lots of other stuff like a brrand new function that will replace the old function for generating new worlds because of new content in the game. So its not garunteed you will get thesame results from putting in a seed for 1.7 also notch said dont get new seeds for 1.7 to try on 1.8 because they wont work. Just clearing some ground here

wait...I think now...Why would a new generator make all the seeds known in minecraft not work right again?

I know about the rivers,villages,ruins,ravines,and villages but THE SEEDS WILL STILL DO THE SAME AS IN 1.7!!!

Except that the worlds will have all those new features in them -_-

if you mean the worlds we has now I was going to delete all my worlds when 1.8 comes out anyway O_o

if theres a new world generator I dont think Notch will destroy pour worlds...

and anyways I bet the worlds we know now still do the same thing -_-

*Well..not the same.Because RIVERS will enter the world and vilages and giant mushrooms.*

After I said that now I guess they might O_o
