The idea for the server is a constantly expanding world for players to explore and plunder. The spawn will look something like this, maybe not so mountainous, but with a vast landscape surrounding it. When you get into the server, you automatically get the rank "Survivor" this give you the basic commands to play minecraft and explore, there will be factions etc (I don't know about faction land yet, bear with me on that). Now, around the world there will be places called 'Sanctuaries'. These will be towns and cities where you cannot greif or destroy. To start off they will be prebuilt by myself and a group of people. This is where the other ranks come in. There will be a rank called 'Game Maker' that helps us build the cities for the surviors. One catch though, once you're a Game Maker, there's no way for you to get back to survivor unless you pay with real money (Donations). However there will be plots within the cities and towns for survivors to claim as their own and contribute to the city (Survivors can also build outside of the sanctuaries wherever they want. I just want to keep sanctuaries more sophisticated etc). Around the cities there will be random loot chests that spawn every few hours or so, so this gives you a reason to actually go to the cities, also there will be shops and other fancy things to get involved with (Maybe mingames, don't know yet). There will also be world bosses in dungeons and ruins. There will be mythical drops on so you can get epic lootz while plundering.You will spawn in the main sanctuary and you must explore to find the cities and in the cities there will be chests with items in them that randomly spawn every now and then. As well as this the mobs in the world will drop some great items to conquer the server with! I want to add custom items and mobs to make the experience a more emmersive one.

Ranks:
Survivor: This rank gives you all the basic commands to play minecraft survival, along with /home etc. This rank will not be able to build in the cities, however they can build outside of them.

GameMaker: This rank is given to you after you apply. You have to show us what you can build and we will decide whether or not it meets the cut. If you get this rank then you are awarded creative, your pvp is turned off.

PvP Enforcer: You apply for this rank. The only difference between survivor and enforcer is that you have kick and jail.

GM Enforcer: You also have to apply for this rank. Only difference from GameMaker is that you have kick and jail.

PvP Moderator: You cannot apply for this rank. You will be chosen from the current pool of enforcers. You will be watched and we will observe your behaviour and decide whether or not you are capable. The only difference between this and enforcer is that you have ban and tempban and you will be allowed into the staff teamspeak channels.

GM Moderator: You cannot apply for this rank. You will be chosen from the current pool of enforcers. You will be watched and we will observe your behaviour and decide whether or not you are capable. The only difference between this and enforcer is that you have ban and tempban and you will be allowed into the staff teamspeak channels. GM Mods will also get access to world edit and world guard to help GM(GameMaker) with building and anything else they might need.

Admin: This rank is only given to those I or the other owners know personally.

PvP

Pvp on the server is completely allowed, apart from in sanctuaries. You can use anything you want as well, tnt, lava, ender pearls, you name it. The server will run a plugin called PvP Manager. This has a set of rules that make PvP a better experience for everyone. There is tagging (Your nametag goes red when you are hit by another player). Combat logging is kept to a minimum, if you log out while tagged then you die instantly. Corpse camping is also not allowed, so we have capped the ammount of times you can kill someone over and over again at 5. To give everyone a fighting chance.

Donations
Donations on the server will be as follows, you can either:
A) Donate out of good will
B) Pay to change ranks from gamemaker to survivor
C) In game currency. There will be a shop, you can either mine materials to get items, or you can pay to get a sum of money to buy it faster.
