Recently joined a Vanilla Server who's spawn got griefed. It got me to thinking about how one would design a spawn to be grief resistant without plugins, but with the possibility of access to indestructible blocks. This is what I came up with. I got the design for the floor from DJRedwolf on http://minecraftbuildinginc.com/floor-patterns/ but ofcorse made some alterations to the building materials.
