Abstract #2

This Schematic is an experiment in colour and shape. It's based on an abstract painting I did while at art college. The original idea was to cut the painting into sections and attach them to planes of wood cut to varied heights. When the painting was put back together it would have a fractured low relief effect. I ran out of time with the project so submitted as regular flat painting. With the bright colours I think it has given it a cartoon effect which I didn't really want or expect however here is the end result.
