Randomised attack phases for the penultimate and final fights was a bad choice—they take forever. At least with the former I was able to reduce the health with commands.

Honestly that was a bad choice on my part. I probably should have lowered the health of the bosses a bit or made the randomisation weighted - All the attacks had an equal chance and the final boss had 6 attacks, only one of which was one you could damage the boss, but overall I don't regret my decision to make them randomised.
